Beautiful building that used to be a monastery, still has the spiritual a**osphere. The church attached to the complex rich in decoration. Very calm , great breakfast buffet. Clean and comfortable beds and spacious room. Very helpful staff at the reception.

My experience at the Ayurveda retreat hosted at JUFA Hotel in Carinthia, Austria, was nothing short of exceptional. We recently stayed at the JUFA Hotel Stift Gurk as part of our adventure to see the F1 Grand Prix at Red Bull Ring Spielberg. Closer hotels were sold out so we settled in at the Hotel Stift Gurk. The hotel is located in the sleepy town of Gurk. An old church complex that found a second calling. As part of the complex one will find the beautiful Dom of Gurk, which still welcomes its parishioners. The area is very quiet and relaxing. The hotel is nice and clean, breakfast service was authentic Austrian, which we found charming and filling. The room was spacious for the four of us and clean. Renovations maintained the charm of an old monastery while upgrading the rooms to modern times. In the back of the hotel is a large garden and play ground for kids to climb and zip line around. The hotel staff was very friendly and spoke English. A lovely place for those who seek peace and relaxation and who love to hike, bike and explore. While we did not eat much in the area due to our focus on the F1 Grand Prix about 45 miles away, we found the local Wirtshaeuser authentic and delicicious. Our group has visited Jufa Hotel Stift Gurk during a sporting event in the region. It was realy pleasant experience for us. Very friendly personel, fulfilling all our needs like earlyer breakfast, later dinner, placing our equipment. The rooms are large, very clean and the whole hotel is really pleasant place to spend time in. Iwant to thank all the personel and wish that we would come back some day in the future. Schönes, geräumiges und modernes Zimmer. Badezimmer top. Tolles Frühstück. Betten sehr bequem. Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Stift ist wirklich sehenswert. Schlüssel zur Krypta gibt es an der Rezeption. Schöne Anlage. Immer wieder gerne. Danke.

Wir waren zu Zweit und mit Hund unterwegs. Alles in allem - ein durchwegs angenehmer Aufenthalt! Das Haus, das Ambiente, das Zimmer, das Frühstück, es gibt nichts, wo ich etwas zu bemängeln finden würde! Das morgendliche Geläute der Domglocken gehört einfach dazu ;-)

Sehr freundliches Personal, super Koch, tolle Behandlungen, liebenswerte und einfühlsame Masseure/ Masseurin, Flexibilität bei Zeiteinteilung, gute Zeit für Yoga um 8.00h, Wellness Bereich sauber, aber vielleicht etwas klein, dafür große modern eingerichtete Zimmer, gute Betten, tolle Location (Stiftsgebäude) in schöner Landschaft;
