Riverside Stay

This was a perfect stay in a wonderful house with exceptional hosts – Richard & Denise. The quiet setting, the Tamar River at the boundary, the quality of all furnishings, the 5 star breakfast this was the best place we stayed on our trip around England. Densie is a wonderful cook and catered for my wife’s gluten intolerant requirements exceptionally well. Made us gluten free cup cakes and helped us with ideas about trips in the area. A great place to unwind for a few days – so tranquil. The short drive to the house is a bit rocky so take it easy in the car for the last 100 metres. We would certainly highly recommend staying with Richard and Denise and we hope to be back one day!

We cannot rate this perfect B&B highly enough- we had the most perfect stay with Richard & Denise, in their beautiful house, with their amazing, kind, thoughtful, unobtrusive hosting and the most delicious, unique, beautifully presented and lovingly cooked breakfasts and snacks. Denise’s cooking is truly scrumptious and done with so much care- it is a joy to both look at and eat. EVERYTHING was perfect, from the comfiest bed with lovely bed linen, the gorgeous interior design, fresh flowers and books everywhere in the house, the position right by the Tamar River and weir and the overall attention to detail, in every aspect, by our wonderful hosts. A truly gorgeous, peaceful, comfortable place to stay, in a beautiful setting, with the most considerate hosts and fantastic food. We felt truly looked after and rested after our stay and we cant wait to go back and visit again.
