arrived at early hours of morning side went to reception given our keys by a young lad not very helpfull seemed more intrested in playing games on his phone long walk down a cobbled corridor down some stairs then down some more stairs in the dark with 2 suit cases in tow to the back of the building not good if you have health walking problems the studio apartments are better and newer near reception but only sleep 2 people good for couples rooftop pool is nice good views and seems more quieter than main pool food ok daytime staff very helpfull bus stops outside to take you to bodrum main centre we was a bit skeptical before arriving as we read some very bad feedback but it turned out not to bad for us

Fantastic relaxing holiday. A lovely room , staff polite cleaners were great, and reception staff were polite and helpful, if had problems sorted straight away. We befriended kitten in may and they were still there in September so cute and playful. Top pool was so pieceful I spent a lot of time up there . My motto a holiday is what you make it you don't change towels and bedding everyday at home so why expect on holiday we did have our change nearly every 2nd day but was not expecting that though be twice a week but cleaners were fantastic . See you all for 4 weeks in September 24

Great stay… We booked a hotel near bar street but after a week of getting no sleep, we decided to book a hotel by the beach for a little bit of peace for a few nights. I was soooo tired and needed a good night sleep. We decided on Siesta beach as we have stayed here previously and it’s always been one of our favourite places to stay. When we arrived we was given a club room which was perfect for us. Before we had stayed in a studio and a one bedroom apartment, but for a few nights this was perfect and decent sized. We had a cute balcony, which looked out on to other apartments. On arrival we noticed the shower door was broken so on our way to the beach we informed reception. Once we returned from the beach the shower door had been fixed so we was happy. The room had brand new air con system which was great. Our first evening in siesta was Turkish night so we decided to spend the night at the hotel and we paid £20! For food and a night of fun entertainment. The food was lovely especially the chicken. And the entertainment was excellent. One great thing about siesta beach is the bar staff. Oktar and Yunus we have known for a long time and they was so welcoming to us, looking after us, asking if our room was okay if we needed anything. The bar staff put on a great show and ensure they chat to everyone. The bar drinks are decent, Yunus makes a great chocolate monkey, you should defo check these out. The beds are comfortable and we had a few nights of pleasant sleep which was just what we needed. Our room was cleaned daily and we had fresh towels everyday we was there. The pool is generally busy so we used the beach most of the time. We didn’t visit the top pool. I enjoyed our time at Siesta beach the staff are amazing and are just like family. Great little complex, right on the beach and at the end of the resort so in a quieter area. Apartments had everything we needed, we was directly over the reception and right next to the main pool area, this could be a little noisy at night, so if you like more peace ask for a room at the back of complex. Cleaners were in daily, wifi was good where we was, complex is clean, everything needed for a great base.

You get what you pay for. The location is good. The room cleaned daily and the staff were friendly and always on hand. The bar closed earlier due to it being near the end of the season but there are plenty of bars within walking distance. Ample equipment in the kitchen and balcony big enough for two people to sit out on. The beach had enough sun loungers and parasols. The menu at the bar was basic but was enough for a light lunch plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Would go back

Booked a last minute family holiday here was looking forward to it till I seen reviews on Facebook was absolutely dreading it. When we arrived reception staff very pleasant and helpful,we had booked 2 studio apartments but got 2 one bedroom apartments. Apartments where clean basic I had apartment 104 which was ideal for my husband. The sofas could do with being steamed cleaned as very stained,our room was cleaned everyday the couple where so nice. Overall we had a lovely time bar staff very nice. Going back June 2024

STAY AWAY!!! Booked self catering one week, myself and friend for her birthday. On reading end of season was September 30th we went 17th September to 24th September unfortunately they had already started shutting down. Will defiñately not go back, dirty, health hazard, not as described at all. Staff very rude and even abusive, we were going up to the top pool there were only a few of us up there but staff started clearing sun beds away the snack bar was closed so we couldn't even get a drink . We went back to our dirty room to get our drinks and went back up to roof pool where they had taped the area off and removed our towels, when we went to reception for our items the guy was shouting saying end of season even tho it clearly stated out of season was from 30th September he threw our towels at us in anger. We asked for room to be cleaned but was told again end of season so had to keep the same sheets all week which were disgusting to start with and as you can see from photos pillows and room were disgusting.

We stayed here as a family of 4 at end of June. The property is a good 2-3 star, with everything we need for a budget holiday… spacious and clean self catering apartment with fridge and well-equipped kitchen, close to beach and town, pool, pool bar, pool table, pool/bar wifi, sunloungers, vibey music around pool/bar, some greenery around the grounds like palm trees and bougainvillea, local architectural character, friendly staff and a holiday-atmosphere feel. This hotel delivers on all of these points. For the week the apartment itself was excellent value for money, but they make it up on drinks and food at the pool bar which weren’t any cheaper than UK Wetherspoons prices. The hotel is beachside location, but shame Gumbet beach so dirty and unmaintained - rubbish everywhere. There’s a variety of minimarkets, restaurants, bars and shopping etc very close, all within a 10 minute walk. As the hotel is the last one at the end of the beach *****, the adjoining land is dirt fields so the view from the room overlooked vacant land used for fly tipping so not a great view from the balcony. The dolmas bus to Bodrum stops right outside the hotel which we used a few times, as Bodrum has much more to offer with a more international and sophisticated feel and a place we’d rather spend our time day and night. The photos on the home page on here don’t do it justice as the green around the pools has been replaced with stone coloured tiling and looks much better. Overall a satisfactory stay at the cheap and cheerful stay at the Siesta Beach Gumbet.

The manager let's the hotel down as he had a rotten attitude and would benefit from learning some level of customer service skills, unfortunately he behaves like a toddler stamping his feet and shouting not professional and hard to take him seriously. Rooms are not the cleanest cockroaches to greet us on arrival of our room. Had my ear buds swiped from the room into thin air supposedly so I'd suggest keeping things locked away in suitcase. No food available even tho they boost of an Al a carte restaurant on site. No info for the Turkish bath was offered (we used jasmine beach hamam). The top pool area could be so spectacular if they maintained and cleaned it, there was zero maintainance of the pool during my stay, the floor around loungers was swarming with ants due to spillages and floors never once cleaned. They then closed off the top pool area literally packing it up around people some of whom had only just checked in and were told they simply couldn't use that area as closed for season. I can't understand them taking bookings beyond when they wished to stay operational. With better management and a bit of love it could be a little gem of a place but as it stands I would recommend it or return unfortunately.
