Royal Asarlik Beach Hotel

I booked 2 double standard room with sea view, I arrived early, we wait 2 hours before we got the rooms, after 2 hours, they give us room with street view, I told them that our rooms was booked with sea view, then they changed the rooms to us.

We went in early May so,the a la carte restaurants were closed ,plus you can only visit one per week. We stayed in the main hotel. No complaints with the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Ozzy at the lobby bar. The location is good for local shops. Bodrum Marina is beautiful and more affluent. We ate there most nights. Sadly it's the food that let's the hotel down .it's repetitive and cold by the time you sit down . The salad section is great . Music plays until 2 am . We wouldn't stay again. However we would like to take the opportunity to thank the staff,from house keeping to reception to waiters .

Really good and staff were great it has gone down the hill a bit since we last came but still ok it’s not as clean as it used to be it’s says 4 star but I’d give 3 🌟

Hello, we stayed with my wife and 2-year-old child between 4-8 September. First of all, from the day we entered until the day we left, the staff was polite and tried to do their job well. We stayed in the relax room, the room size was sufficient. Cleaning was done daily, towels were changed. The food was so good that we could easily feed it to our little child. The sea was clean, but the sun loungers were filling up quickly because of people coming early and throwing towels. Unfortunately the drinks were not good. Also, the evening events were enjoyable. There may be people who are looking for this, just so you know. We were generally satisfied

I really don’t like giving poor reviews but although there were some good points with this All inclusive 5star hotel there were quite a few negatives. We arrived at 4am due to flight being delayed and first (tired ) impressions were reasonable. Fairly quick check in and shown to our (sea view) room. Bed was comfortable. We got up about 9:30 and noticed our room was what could only be described as grubby. Dirty looking marks all over and yellowing on all white surfaces(walls and wardrobes). We did have a sea view but it was over some other accommodation so a distant view. Overall food was reasonable,decent choice and well cooked. Problem was there was never enough cutlery and I was just amazed that the problem wasn’t solved after a the first day of problems. If I had been the restaurant manager then I would have bought another 500 hundred sets myself rather than have the embarrassment of keep saying sorry to guests night after night. Same thing with the fruit juice machines, always empty with only half the guests thirst quenched. Never known anything like it, even in 2 star hotels. Beach was lovely and was always crowded with the pool areas staying empty. Pool bars and snack bar excellent as was the beach bar. Lobby bar was a lovely place to st and have a drink in the evening but after 9 pm it was only paper cups as although they kept collecting empty glasses no one ever washe them up 😂. Beds were made every morning though the rooms were never cleaned and toilet rolls seemed to be a scarcity and a couple times the dirty towels were taken away without leaving replacements though quickly rectified by a call to reception. Don’t expect your free drinks in your fridge to be replenished either. Most staff were ok though a few were excellent and a few were grumpy. All in all we had a good break but wasn’t the 5 star luxury we were expecting. Maybe 3 star + Disappointing overall is how I’m remembering it. I just remembered that we were WhatsApped by a guy named Bülent on our first morning and asked to go to a meeting with him at midday. We got there and all the new guests were present and he started off giving good info about hotel but it turned into a hard sell of attractions. We paid 30 euros each for a spa and massage experience away from the hotel and were promised it would be excellent but it wasn’t, it was dirty and awful backstreet sauna that no one was comfortable with. We also paid 50euros each for a boat trip that was amazing but if you book from the guys down the beach it was only 25 euros 😞. Don’t be fooled by Bülent, he is not your friend.

One of the nicest hotels I've stayed at we arrived very early in to the morning and were greeted with smiles and a warm welcome. The rooms were perfect for our groups. The mini bar was stocked with water and soda which really spot on a hot day. The staff were fantastic we were especially happy with Ahmet,Cenkiz and Sahinthey made our experience fantastic by showing is great service in the restaurant and the bars. This hotel is brilliant woth great drinks and night life the pools are lovely to have a nice relaxing swim and its only down some stairs to the beach all in all a fantastic hotel with fantastic staff. I would definitely stay here again.

After reading some of the trip advisor reviews on the Royal Asarlik Hotel we were slightly anxious to say the least, however this hotel has been fantastic. Newly renovated rooms (all 3 rooms we had were lovely), plenty of choice at the buffet (always warm food) and a great location with water sports on the private beach we’re among some of our favourite parts. The only recommendations we have for the hotel is that the cleaner leaves the door to the balcony open in your room (obviously to air it out) but this lets lots of bugs including the dreaded mosquitoes, it was also slightly strange that the relax pool sits directly next to the kids pool (some would argue that is not relaxing) and the a la cartes are nice to mix up the week but I don’t think the chefs have been to China or Italy themselves, with strange meal choices on the menu. Overall, this holiday has exceeded our expectations with friendly staff, great alcohol choice and good facilities. We would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the Bodrum area, although we were slightly surprised at the big nightlife scene in Gumbet! Remember people are more likely to write bad reviews than good, don’t let the prior trip advisor reviews put you off. We had a great time!

Dirty hotel although the staff tried to clean once we complained, but the saying “you can’t polish a turd” is very apt! Everything was dirty, broken, ripped, old. Shocking entertainment, broken chairs in entertainment area. Awful food. Guests (not English) arguing with other guests, fighting for tables at breakfast lunch etc. Ice cream parlour and waffle machine was the dirtiest of them all. The quiet pool was also dirty. The bar staff tried their hardest. Lock on the door to the balcony was broken. Chain on door was broken. Mould everywhere. This is an honest review, This place is falsely advertised by tui, tui didn’t want to know about our complaint. We came home to a £250 phone bill where we phoned Tui on numerous occasions asking to be moved to another hotel, after 3 days we were offered another hotel for the additional cost of £1800 🤣🤣 The only good thing was, we met more lovely people on this holiday then any other holiday, I think it was because we were all in the same boat staying in a dirty hotel. We went out every night and there was more than 20 of us on our last night. We didn’t unpack our cases.
