We chose the Hyatt Regency Zhongtian Hotel by Guanshan Lake to watch the Mars concert. It has a great location, with many delicious foods around. The second floor leads directly to the park and the concert ticket gate. The hotel design is standard and has a sense of age. The room water is Nongfu Spring. Due to the National Day holiday and the concert, the price is much higher than usual, so the price-performance ratio is not high. The service is still enthusiastic. Although the temperature in Guiyang has been low these days, the central air-conditioning cannot cool the room, the room is very stuffy and I did not sleep well.

Room: Stayed on the 27th floor in one of the executive rooms and it definitely was not executive. Luxury was definitely lacking as most of the interior in the bathroom/shower bath area was old and in need of help. The closet was so dusty inside too. However the room itself was nice enough with a big enough bed and a good view of the city. Complimentary fruit was there on arrival but compared to other executive rooms in hotels it missed the personal touch. The executive lounge on the 30th floor was fine enough with cakes, salad and some hot dishes alongside fruit and beverages. Would be nice if they offered wine though. Staff: staff here are wonderful. Very attentive and cheerful. Cleaners, waiters, reception and everything in between- all lovely people. Breakfast. The breakfast buffet is the highlight. Absolutely delicious and such a wide variety of to choose. Western and Chinese dishes are available with plenty of fruit and bakery items too. Fantastic. Location: Easy enough to reach plenty of attractions and snack street is very close by. Overall a pleasant stay.

If you can only stay in one Luxury Collection hotel in Guiyang, choose this one!! If you can beat me, I bet my experience of staying in hundreds of good hotels. Haha, I don't know if it's because of the off-season or because I don't have high expectations for non-chain hotels, but at least my experience is that this hotel can compete with first-tier luxury brands from hardware to service. Facilities: The hotel design is very beautiful. It looks like Edward Hopper's paintings when you take pictures casually. The room supplies are Diptyque, Voss mineral water, and the minibar is free. The night bed service also has small cakes, and you can call for bath balls, masks, earplugs, etc. are all free. Breakfast is from noon, which is very suitable for vacation. The small market and park downstairs are also fun. Service: I met a staff member, Seven, who casually said that he wanted to take pictures, so he took us to introduce the hotel's unique scenery and artworks while walking. It may be the off-season. When we said that we were hotel enthusiasts, he took the initiative to help upgrade the room type. In addition, the service attitude of each staff member is very good. Even the cleaners will help press the elevator when they see guests. They are really professional in details. Every staff member you meet will come over and ask if you need help when they see your confused look. This hotel is simply MUST STAY in Guiyang. Staff over there are all super friendly and helpful. Especially duty manager Luke Lu welcomed us with fruits, cake and lovely hand written card. Thank you so much. Room has spectacular view and you can look over all Guiyang from bird eye view. I stayed on 51st floor suite room which allows full access to executive lounge on 53rd floor from 2 to 10pm. Its location is in the heart of city, so Jiaxiulu甲秀楼，shoppings and restaurants ste in walking distance. Even airport is just 15 minutes drive. My wife and I really loved to stay here in Kempinski Guiyang and its name is now reliable one to make booking next times of trouble without any hesitation. 한국어가 능숙한 매니져 Jeff Wang도 있습니다. 가급적이면 스위트룸에서 최고의 뷰와 라운지와 서비스를 느껴보시길 추천드립니다.

Everything was great. The only issue was the room was hot. AC wasn't doing its job. Called front desk. They sent a tech to adjust AC and brought a portable fan. Was able to cool the room down to acceptable level but not as low as we liked. Great breakfast buffet. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants. Very friendly staff.

Very close to the Penshuishi metro line,just a few minutes walk ,round the corner and thus convenient.Breakfast was a good spread with noodles,porridge and some western like sausages, eggs and waffles.Fruits also a good spread.The late supper porridge was quite delightful and a plus. Opposite the hotel is an authentic restaurant selling local guiyang dishes.Staff were young ,friendly and you need a translator app if you don't speak mandarin.

We were given an upgrade and complimentary breakfast. All the staff including the manager were courteous and extremely helpful, going out of their way to give us directions and transportation information to places we wanted to visit. The metro station is about 200metres away and there’s a basement food court about 50metres away. I highly recommend this hotel.

Plus point: Hotel is about 800m from assembly point for one day local tour packages. Limitations: The hotel driveway can be messy with many tour coaches picking up tourists. The breakfast hall was chaotic during peak hour notably 6.30-7.00am when guests had difficulties finding seats and food. The room is good and clean. Staffs are nice and helpful.

Living on the 9th floor is opposite the Guizhou Daily Group.

The staff were helpful with check-ins and extending stays. The general location is sort convenient to the lively areas of the city and in very close facility to the bars and night life. Taxis from here are a great price getting to tourist attractions.
