Guangzhou Marriott Hotel Tianhe

Severe rain made the K train delayed. Decided 1 night in Guangzhou with a new ticket back to Shenzhen. The rooms here are good. Refreshing beer at mini-bar. Goo bathroom facilities. Relaxed and got ready to set out for some appetizer, dinner, and music. Rain was off and on. HOWEVER, Never got to leave. The Sashimi was within 30 minutes unable to finish. Despite the portion well worth the value, I was ill from the fish. Right away informed lobby lounge bar, and informed him I had to go rest. I was sick. Slept today 5am. Front desk got water from housekeeping. Luckily had electrolytes in luggage. By checkout, front desk had already informed manager, so requested food portion for refund through WeChat. Despite not leaving the hotel, the staff and comfort of room helped. Still very ill, but was able to make it to the train. Will get sashimi at sushi/sashimi restaurants from now on. Hoping the bacteria does not lead to infection.

Excellent location Large comfortable rooms with deep bathtubs Best indoor pool in the area Outdated amenities such as : no usb charging ports / TV doesn’t have Apple screen mirroring function Breakfast buffet, options and quality definitely lags behind similar hotels of the same class in the area such as Crowne plaza and Sheraton

Hotel location is the central of the city. Near the 正佳 shopping mall.

The hotel is situated in a way to busy location, when you take a taxi at certain times you wait very long and to go somewhere you will reach you destination 30 minutes late

It was a great stay! Highly recommended! The location, amenities and service was amazing!

Clean room was not available on-time at 2:00 pm check-in time. Please improve.

Don't order the Margherita pizza; worse than school cafeteria pizza. Gross. The bed was not as comfortably Marriott as I am used to so was disappointed. Service is excellent, room is beautiful. Probably will not stay again as I could get a better bed for the price.
