Nice Hotel with very friendly reception staff. Clean and good size room. A lovely view of the city from the windows. Very good breakfast. Two good size bottles of water provided. Close to the shopping mall, restaurants and steps away from subway station. A really good choice for a Canton Fair visitor, would certainly stay again.

i stayed here 10yrs ago & rooms were terrible with useless internet, really rubbish furnitutre. indian restaurant @ the time was rather expensive & food poor for cost/value Now 10yrs later; rooms have been refurbished/ internet is good. facilities much improved, advertised swimming pool seems permanently closed,. i thing maybe bait & switch tactics but not necessary. area has improved . many nearby food /restaurants./bars etc . muslim/turkish restaurant nearby indian restaraunt inside hotel is much better value/costs & food quality & have draft beer. plenty western draft beers./food nearby./10min walk i will stay here more often in future wierd iopen plan room designs. 2 sinks in room but nowhere for our toiletries/ etc. rather small shelf only toilet & shower doors open directly into room /no lobby so must use towel on floor to controlleaks from shower pointless big glass bathtub in room .

It was a great hotel. Clean and spacious. However the lights a bit Dim. A bit of romantic feel. Overall location was great. Near to shopping area. Familymart downstairs. Staff can speak English and nearby have nice restaurants

I had an Executive Floor room (23rd floor). It was quite, clean and large and had a good city view. The hotel has a nice outdoor swimming pool and a small sauna on the 6th floor, which I used a couple of times. The staff (everywhere) is kind, nice and service-oriented. I highly recommend this hotel. (The photo shows a part of my room view.)

Best stay ever in Guangzhou! Hotel room is spacious and clean. Bed is very big and comfortable, however the pillow is a little soft to our liking but we still had a good rest! Hotel is just beside a few of the shopping malls making it very convenient to do shopping and have our meals, it’s also very near the local metro station. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel, definitely lived up to the 5 stars hotel standard.

The W Hotel in Guangzhou is so comfortable! I'd definitely want to stay here again if I want to treat myself to some futuristic and lively vibes. I stayed here for a holiday weekend, so it felt quite busy, but I could still relax in a spacious room with large bath and shower combo. Nice separated toilet also, with comfy desk and lounge chair to enjoy TV. Great location and walking distance to the subway, so if you want a luxurious experience in the Liede District, this is a great choice.

I loved this place. It's the epitome of old-timey fancy hotel that just oozes class and is extremely well kept. The room is beautiful and has character, and the outdoor grounds are very nice. The restaurants are simply amazing: Stiller is my favorite restaurant in Guangzhou, the Teppanyaki restaurant is great, and there's even a place in the lobby for a quick latte with awesome pastry selection. The location is a 2 minute walk from the red line subway.

The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was not very good. There is a shopping mall just across the road, got plenty other choices of food. The facilities are a bit old but is clean overall. The children playhouse is very small and a bit disappointing.

Always a great stay at the Grand Hyatt in Guangzhou. Staff are super friendly! Dinner and drinks in the club lounge is great and the breakfast fantastic! Swimming pool is very nice and was great for the family over this rainy weekend.

Excellent location, warm staff, clean and big room. The only thing I don't like is that too many mirror are installed in the room but it's personal comment.
