"When we first checked in for 5 nights we were given a room on the 5th floor but the room was full of musty smell which was a health hazard. The furniture was also very old and some areas were already peeling off. We went to reception to request to change to another room and we were told "we were upgraded" to a better and newly renovated room on the 6th floor. The newer room was of the exact same size but with newer furniture and without the musty smell. This should be the type of room we should get in the first place and not after we complained and was "upgraded". The hotel overall was pretty dated and badly needed an upgrade."

"First of all, I’d like to say my stay at Hotel Tano Guam was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had! I visited with my 2-year-old daughter for her birthday, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared a small cake and even upgraded our room so she would have plenty of space to run around. We absolutely loved the room we stayed in. The front desk team was incredibly helpful and friendly. Special thanks to the Rooms Division Manager, Jerald Aradanas, for the room upgrade and the thoughtful gifts for my daughter! I also want to mention the night shift front desk staffs, Axel and Gene. They gave us such a warm welcome after our long flight and made the check-in process incredibly smooth. Thank you, Hotel Tano team! I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Guam. Highly recommended!"

"My room was right next to a noisy ice machine. I am sensitive to machine noise so I couldn't sleep well. I asked to change my room but they didn't. Besides the bedding wasn't very clean. This hotel is classified 5-star. In my experience only 3-star hotels have noisy ice-machines with stained bed linens."

"O hotel era bom e a localização é perfeita. O café da manhã era muito bom e as demais refeições eram razoáveis. A equipe foi prestativa e gentil. O único problema real para a nossa família é que o clube infantil não pode ser usado sem reserva prévia (e com custo extra). Não sabíamos disso, então, quando tentamos reservar, já estava lotado para os três dias que estivemos lá. Minha filha ficava muito chateada cada vez que via o clube pedindo para entrar, mas não era permitido."

"É um hotel antigo, por isso não parece luxuoso. O interior do quarto também foi mantido limpo... Somos uma família de 4 adultos e temos 2 camas de casal. 1 super solteiro. 1 cama extra. Há um total de 4 camas Estou completamente chocado ~~~ Não é tão chamativo quanto o centro da cidade perto de Dusit Thani, mas é tranquilo. Perfeito para uma viagem em família. Também gostei das festas gratuitas no jardim em determinados dias da semana. Instalações de recreação aquática que vão desde piscina juvenil até escorregadores Foi bom tê-lo, e eu poderia andar de caiaque na praia bem em frente. Até mesmo mergulho com snorkel ~~~ Sapatos aquáticos e equipamento de mergulho também são gratuitos. A equipe também foi muito simpática. Fiquei satisfeito porque também havia café da manhã. Foi ótimo pelo preço ~"

"There is no early move-in room rate discount anymore! Because I was on a red-eye flight, I asked at the counter about the early check-in fee. No matter if it was 4 a.m., 6 a.m., or 8 a.m.... it was all the same as the original price for one night, without any discount. (Before the epidemic, we offered early check-in discounts) The counter staff will not stop customers who jump in line at all, and will ignore customers who are waiting in line obediently. (Even the Starbucks clerk here 😊) In addition, when asking about early check-in, the counter asked us to provide information and credit card pre-authorization (no deduction). However, when we checked in at 3 pm, we still had to provide another credit card pre-authorization (no deduction), which was a bit uncomfortable. good. The room is large, the bed and pillows are soft, and the cleanliness needs to be improved! There were obvious hairs on the bed and a lot of dust. The window of the non-sea view room faces the parking lot, but you can see a little of the seaside when you step out of the balcony. There are 3 bottles of PET bottle mineral water provided in the room (for 2 people). If you stay in a row, only 3 bottles will be kept. It is recommended to take away the unfinished drinks. The TV is not a smart TV, and the remote control has no option to connect to the Internet. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, but even if the door is closed tightly, it will still leak (seems this is the case in hotels in Guam? The wet and dry separation in the Lotte Hotel is also tightly closed and water will leak) Because the hotel has a patio layout, the sound insulation is very poor! If you live on a high floor, you can hear the shouts of children on the first floor, and there are no earplugs in the room or provided at the front desk."

"This hotel was a complete disappointment — inconvenient, unpleasant, and poorly managed from start to finish. Upon arrival, the front desk clerk attempted to charge me the full nightly rate, even though I had previously confirmed by phone that a past-midnight (early) check-in would be allowed at 50% of the nightly charge. The clerk spent nearly 20 minutes insisting that I had been misinformed, showing no willingness to take responsibility. He even claimed the staff member who gave me the information was new — someone he said he knew well — seemingly to deflect accountability. After I firmly maintained my position that I would only pay what had been confirmed to me, he suddenly asked whether I remembered the employee’s name — a typical tactic to put a customer on the spot. When it became clear I would not back down, he stepped away to a back room for several minutes and then returned saying he could “waive it this time.” That phrasing left me wondering who would have benefited from the extra charge had I simply paid in full. Beyond the check-in issue, the property and room felt far older and more worn than the photos suggest, and not at all suitable for a family stay. The shampoo dispenser was empty or clogged; maintenance later said it was clogged, yet I still spent my second night without shampoo. I never expected five-star service here, but even a three-star rating would be generous based on my experience. The only redeeming factor is the location. Overall, I would rate this hotel one star and would not recommend it to anyone."
