My daughter and I had a lovely stay while in Greytown for the Winter Xmas Festival. The motel unit was fantastic. A great size and very clean, tidy, and comfortable. We were welcomed warmly by Yvette who happily stored our bags for us until check in as we had traveled from Wellington by train and bus. After a walk into town we returned to check in and the bags were waiting in our unit. We attended a workshop on Sunday afternoon, which we found out was outside the township. As we had no transport, Yvette kindly dropped us off and picked us up. We were eternally grateful. They were exceptional hosts and It was a pleasure staying with them. We will come again. Highly recommend.

I was greeted like a wonderful 5 star hotel , friendly & inviting . I was shown to my room and then told about the local places for food & historic locations in the region.. The room was clean & fresh quiet and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place if you are ever passing through greytown.

This motel was great. Friends and I were here for a wedding and Yvette kindly let us have our rooms well before check in time which meant we could relax and take our time to get ready for the wedding. We were in a studio room which was perfect. Very clean and tidy. Also very grateful to Murray who arranged for the wedding coach to stop outside the motel. That saved us all having to walk a bit of a distance. Location is also great only a couple of minutes in the car to Greytown shops. Highly recommended. Thank you.

This place would be one of the best we have stayed at. Very well set up, shower hot and strong, bed comfy. Plenty of room in a studio for two . Host helpful and friendly. And not far to Greytown shops, and handy to surrounding areas.

Stayed two nights in the most accessible room I have ever encountered in NZ or in the USA, which is home for me. The amenities were incredible and perfect in every way.. Could not be happier and would recommend 110? Again the greatest accessible unit I have ever found in fifty years of travel.

Nice hotel that is well maintained, nice and quiet location with only a short walk to town. The owners were very friendly and had great knowledge of the local area and attractions. I would certainly stay here again.

Murray and Yvette know what hospitality is all about. We are 3 families from Australia and New Zealand who met in Greytown for a family wedding. We arrived well before the regular checkin time of 2pm. Yvette was very gracious and let us into a vacant room where we could leave our luggage until our own units were ready. The units are very well presented- we had sleeping space for 5 with a queen bed in one room, twin beds in another and a spare bunk in the room if needed ( we didn’t need it) If I ever come over this way again the Oaks Estate will be where I stay.

Modern, spotless, spacious. Bed so comfortable we slept in. Owners are well travelled and understand how to provide an ultimate travellers rest and reset environment. Would definitely recommend to others and will put on return itinerary.
