Do not recommend to anyone!!!!

I came to Greensboro with some friends to see our other mutual friend and I was impressed with all the places to shop but most of all I was impressed with our stay at Hometown Studios. We had a kitchen to cook and that was great because we cooked breakfast and lunch saving our money to have a nice dinner out. The hotel staff were kind and knowledgeable about the area and location with easy access to shopping. We have met the new owners and was told that it is under new ownership and being remodeled and the place looks great as they are making it feel more like home. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were soft and the room was very clean because that is a big deal to me. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay that I wanted to spread the word and I highly recommend staying here as I would/will stay here again. The price is perfect and affordable, the location was perfect the staff were AMAZING!!!! We give it an A+++++

Hometowne Studios is conveniently located just off Interstate 40, making it easy to access nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. The proximity to downtown Greensboro is a definite plus, as it offers various dining options and entertainment venues. Public transportation is also available for those who prefer not to drive.The check-in process was relatively smooth. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms are designed with a focus on functionality, featuring a small kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and stovetop, which is perfect for extended stays. My room was clean upon arrival, the bed was comfortable with newer linen. One of the strong points of Hometowne Studios is its amenities. The on-site laundry facilities are a great convenience for those staying longer. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi, which worked well during my stay. The hotel maintained a good level of cleanliness throughout my stay the common areas, including the lobby and hallways, were well-kept. The housekeeping staff was attentive, and I felt comfortable during my visit.

I will never stay at one of these hotels again. I would say it’s a step up from Motel 6. Clean but an older hotel. The bathroom smelled like someone smoked in it. There is no elevator, you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Then try to open a door and immediately there is another door! Tough to do this with heavy luggage. You can’t open refrigerator to put your food in because the oven is the way!
