Hotel rooms are a bit dated. We had no heating in room . But was giving 2 electric heaters very quickly. Shower head was burst water going everywhere. Cracked tiles in bathroom.

Room was clean and comfortable, hotel was nice and cozy. Only complaint: Made a reservation for the restaurant and had to pay £5 deposit, not sure why as we were told to sit anywhere and the £5 didn’t get taken off our bill.

Check in quick and easy. Rooms good for what we needed. Only fault was the shower area was mouldy. A drop of bleach on the motley areas would have rectified that. Could not hear the extractor fan - not sure if it was adequate.
Restaurant was fabulous, the food was lovely.

A bit tired looking and firm beds. Awful breakfast, all over cooked buffet with joke eggs (knife bounced off when tried to cut). Convenient location and about the best hotel in town sadly.

Decor throughout was attractive & in keeping with age of hotel.
Room was spacious & comfortable.
Staff were attentive & polite.
Breakfast was very good & dinner was excellent.
Parking spaces not really adequate for occupancy of hotel.

Rooms are dated. Mattress and pillows very uncomfortable and items, such as the tv remote and hallway light, did not work. The restaurant was very nice and a relaxing way to spend an evening.

2mins walk from frequent bus service.

I’ve stayed here frequently in the past but it’s gone down hill since our last visit. The air conditioning didn’t work so the room was uncomfortably warm but there wasn’t even a glass to use to have a drink of water. Furnishings in the room were broken or worn and there was mould in the shower. Initially we couldn’t get through the door as a group of wedding guests were smoking in front of it and one of them was asleep on in the stairs inside. Staff were trying really hard but this was not a great experience.
