Rainbow Motel

I travelled to Greeley for work and stayed at Rainbow Motel and had a delightful experience. The mattress was very comfortable, there was a cute pink robe for the shower that was very useful. There were a lot of amenities- a mini fridge, a coffeemaker, hangers for my clothes so that they didn't get wrinkled, a shower cap, the tv had netflix, there was makeup remover in the bathroom along with nice shampoo body wash. On top of that- the room was well done and made me feel at home.

We thought we'd give this motel a chance. It looks like it's been remodeled recently and the photos are cute. It's a complete disaster. Unpatched holes in the walls, dusty surfaces, stained shower curtan, mini refrigerator was extremely loud as was the heater, and the cold water knob in the shower was broken. It was *****ped so you had to take a scalding hot shower or spend 5 minutes trying to turn off the cold water. We're sensitive to cigarette smoke. Though our room is non-smoking, the towels provided were stored in a place that has smokers. Took me back to 1985 when my best friend's parents smoked in the house and EVERYTHING smelled. I would not recommend. Do yourself a favor, find another place to stay.

The cold water valve in the shower is completely *****ped. I had to wrestle with it just turn it on and it took me 5 minutes to try to turn it off. The hotel clerk mentioned that it was “finicky” but “broken” would be more accurate. Towels smelled like smoke. The walls were stained and filthy. The decorative shower curtain was placed inside the tub to conceal the yellow stains. The refrigerator and the heater were so loud - between them, it was difficult to sleep. Parking spots were covered in 3 inches of ice. In my opinion, just spend the extra $50 to stay anywhere else.

Wow just wow.. my boyfriend and I pull up to the rainbow motel at about 2am… my boyfriend goes to the door and rings the bell. A woman in a robe and bed clothes opens the door, she lets him in then tells him he has to check in at the hotel across the street…..???? As my boyfriend is exiting the door 2 females walk in… the woman proceeded to check them in …. Oh I need to mention my boyfriend is a dark skin black man, the two females were Caucasian of course.. we drive across the street to the other hotel only for them to tell my boyfriend he must Check in across the street, where we just came from…. I am disgusted at the blatant racism. My boyfriend is a disabled veteran as well. This is a small town in Roswell where there are no other hotels for many miles. I’m disgusted

Check in was easy. Nice staff. Rooms smelled like smoke and there were stains on the bedding. I was approached in the parking lot by a homeless man. Area was not a great area to stay solo.

Cute concept. Retro doesn't have to equal bad. Manager rarely present. No new towels or room cleanup for 2nd day. Price does not justify what you get. 2 outlets in entire room. None in bathroom. No place to put anything. Heating is via room AC unit. Noisy. Street noise and light not filtered from room

I really seek out fun, kitschy places that are not cookie cutter corporate so thought this place would be perfect! Not so much. Lacked some basic things, the manager was nice upon checking in but then we were instructed to call a cell number if we needed anything. He advised that our bedspreads we're in the dryer but he'd bring them shortly. Never did get them so turned the heater up to stay warm. Temps in single digits. No towel racks or hooks, towels were stacked and n window ledge. Teeny tiny Keurig but no Keurig cups and no cups at all in room. Outlets didn't function...other guests would sit in their vehicle to smoke very frequently... I'll stop now but encourage you to seek other accomodations as this place was close to pricing at closeby accomodations so not a cheap stay.
