Loved this hotel. Staff were very friendly and were very good to help me with a lost phone in a taxi. Rooms are good and had food once at the hotel, which was very nice. It is in a good location and near all business and tourist attractions.

This is my fifth time staying at the Catalonia Gran Via and again I was delighted with the service we received. Check in was quick and efficient and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Location is ideal for all amenities and also close to San Mames football stadium. Staff as always were extremely attentive and accommodating. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone considering a visit to Bilbao.

Really nice hotel in a great location.
Staff were lovely throughout, and the breakfast seemed fair for €19, though we didn't try it.
The room was very comfortable, the bathroom was amazing with twin shower heads.
A bit of a shame that you have to pay to use the spa, so we ended up not going.
A couple other things to mention are: no body lotion in the room, which is a pity when staying at a spa hotel whose soaps, shampoos, etc are of really amazing quality.
Also, two pillows per guest is generous, but both were soft, so there was no firm option which affected my sleep quality a bit.
In general, a good stay.

Stayed here with the family, two adults, a 4yr old and 2yr old. It was really convenient for everything. Dinner was tricky because the kids are used to a different time for dinner etc but the hotel had delicious options for their meals. The staff were brilliant and helped me celebrate my birthday too. Excellent stay, will be booking with Catalonia group again.

Room would not cool off. I slept with the door open the last night. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The balcony was very tiny. The pool was more of a hot tub. There were 4 people.in it and it was full. The area was very centralized with lots of restaurants and shopping near by.

Excellent facility with a friendly staff. The only thing I did not like is their breakfast price. We do not it much and their fixed price was too expensive for the amount of flees we would have consumed. We did not use their dining options.

A very nice hotel. The staff were friendly and were able to check us in early. Breakfast buffet was good with lots of options. The hotel is located away from the museum and old town but is still walkable in about 20-25 mins. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

This is the second time I’ve stayed in this hotel within a year!It’s a perfect base for exploring the beautiful city,and the surrounding areas.The breakfast is great,as is the bar.And the rooftop pool is a real bonus.
Above all the staff are great - efficient,but unfailingly kind and helpful.
