"We used the travellers inn as we wanted to see the grisdale tarn and we needed to a room to stay after the sight. They allowed us to store our luggage at the inn as our check in was at 3pm. The rooms were clean and it overlooked a farm area with lots of sheep. The room had an aesthetic look and there was tea satchets we could have as well. The staff were kind and wonderful. The rooms had the britain charm you see in old english movies. If you love sheeps, kind people, good food and 80's british aesthetics- then this place is just for you. We loved our stay here."

"Absolutely love it here. It’s such a good location for loads of walks, swims or just relaxing. The staff are friendly. It’s clean. There’s lots of facilities. They’re obviously improving things too with more storage for self catering. We stayed a night camping and a night in the dorm room. Ideal location for a walk up to easedale tarn or into abide via rydal. Of course will be back again very soon."

"A bela localização com vista ao longo do vale do quarto, o chá de champanhe da tarde não era o melhor... nenhum sanduíche.. demasiados bolos com as bolachas secas.. provavelmente congelados. O jantar estava bem !!! comida quente.. o pequeno-almoço foi para a frente, mas o pequeno-almoço foi para a frente muito melhor nas Premier Inns.O pessoal foi muito atento e bem-vindo, compreendendo que o inverno nos lagos foi agradável."

"We stayed at Lake View for 1 night on 23rd March, after we had taken part in a sports event in Grasmere. We asked to have the room earlier than the usual check in time as we wanted to shower and warm up after the event. Although Lake View couldn't guarantee early access, the keys were there around 12.30pm which was perfect. We stayed in 'Treetop' which was absolutely lovely. He room is finished to a high standard with classic decor and high quality fixtures and fittings. The bedding was lovely and soft and little touches like fresh ground coffee with a cafetiere and hot chocolate make a big difference. The bathroom was large with a lovely oval corner bath (note; there is no shower in this room but that is the only thing I would add, oh and the addition of a full length mirror would also be helpful). Having said that, still a 5 star stay. Would highly recommend! 👍"

"Se houvesse um estadia agradável, estavamos na sala 1 bela sala de tamanho cama com um belo balcão, um grande banheiro com banho e chuveiro, muito confortável tinha tudo o que precisavamos para nossa estadia, o balcão era um bónus que nos sentámos e tinhamos o café da manhã até Outubro. O pequeno-almoço era bonito enquanto somos o pessoal, apenas criticando o pequeno-almoço às 8hm até às 9hm, sentimos que deveria ser alargado para 9.30 10am isso não nos deixou fora, gostaríamos de ficar novamente e recomendaria."
