Avoid this place like the plague. I stayed here for over a month. Between room and food and beverage over 10,000 was spent. I came back with my spouse 3 months later and used the restaurant probably dozens of times and spending significant amounts of money. Long story short - I was kicked out forever. The General Manager lacks people Management and Customer service. Service is slipping. As an elite member, I was told By staff that upgrades are always denied unless the GM approves. Even if occupancy is only 30%. Staff are treated like slaves, everybody is scared and walking on eggshells. Please take your hard earned money elsewhere. I did, and have not regretted a single thing, nor have I been contacted from this establishment. GP doesn’t have a lot of options but I would suggest Pomeroy Hotel or Hampton Inn. If not in GP these people give Delta a bad name. Go to a Westin, W, or even a Sheraton. Shame on you and your behaviour Delta Grande Prairie. You can change the name of the restaurant and promote all you want via social media channels, and I will continue to advise everyone I speak to, to avoid this place like a Cancer. The entire place needs a management overhaul. If it wasn’t for the Westjet and Air Canada contract I suspect they would lose the Marriott badging. The behaviour is what you’d expect from a Travelodge.
