The hotel is very beautiful. I was fascinated by the animal specimens decorated inside. The hotel room was small, but the staff at the reception was very warm and friendly. I agreed that we had several meals in the hall. We mainly like the atmosphere of the hall. We also Drinking at the hotel, other hotels have a lot of rules, this hotel feels very relaxed, in the morning, I also happened to meet the sika deer, completely unprepared, very pleasant surprise, very close to the helicopter club, it is very convenient to go to the plane to visit, the scenic area is also very Nearly, driving for ten minutes, there is a Mexican restaurant on the opposite side that is very delicious. decided to visit Grand Canyon and unfortunately planned a little late with most hotels in the village fully booked. The hotel is nice and clean and centrally located which saves 20 mins driving out of GC to stay at hotels outside. Check in is great and staff friendly. Food at the lodge can be better especially availability of choices.

The hotel is relatively easy to find. Although it doesn't rely on the street, you can find it by following the navigation. The hotel is large, close to the visitor center, and the large indoor atrium is very atmospheric. On the balcony, you can say hello to the people in the next room. The hotel is not expensive to check in in the low season, only 3 minutes to the Grand Canyon entrance, I don't know how it is during the high season. The hotel is a big MOTEL. The facilities are relatively complete. The breakfast is more expensive. It is not cost-effective. A bread, a sausage, an egg, and a cup of coffee cost 14 knives. Not far from the door are McDonald's and Wendy, but the price is also relatively high.

We had a partial rim view cabin for 2 nights, and I can’t say enough good things about the room. Clean. Good size. Partial view is accurate from the room but you are literally steps from the rim trail. Early morning and after 5, the crowds thinned and it’s almost like you had the Canyon to yourself. If you’re planning a trip, I’d encourage you to stalk the Xanterra website. We were able to get a room probably 2-3 months before our trip. There are a lot of people who have to cancel and the website tracks that in real time. Totally worth it to stay inside the park and not have to drive in.

Always wanted to stay here. Had stayed at Bright Angel and Thunderbird. El Tovar seemed out of reach. On a whim got a room two days out. Beautiful, majestic, other words meaning the same. It is like stepping back in history when travel was a grand experience. First night ate at the bar. Really, really good pulled pork sandwich, next night ate in main dining room with high expectations. Food was really good but that pulled pork sandwich was amazing. The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. El Tovar lives up to the reputation of the National Parks for having the some of the nicest accommodations in the world.
