Hotel Casa Cubana Granada Nicaragua

The hospitality is amazing along with the breakfast (made daily by Hazel) and cleanliness of the place. Esther and Andy are great hosts. Andy was great as our tour guide to the volcano in Masaya. Would recommend staying here to anyone.

Hidden away in a quiet neighbourhood colonial house is this oasis of peace. For me, what makes an experience great is the people I meet. A nice place is great, but welcoming, thoughtful, generous and gracious people make it beyond great. Esther and Andy are the best !! They live in and love this city and helped to make our time there a peak experience of our trip.

A beautiful courtyard and welcoming rooms are found tucked inside the walls of Casa Cubana. Daily breakfast was fantastic, and more than enough to make it until a midday meal. We were walking distance from everywhere in town, and Esther arranged transportation and excursions for us at our request. I would highly recommend this accommodation and hope to return someday.

We stayed for 5 nights when first arriving in Nicaragua and echo the other recent reviews. Room was spacious and clean with comfortable bed, mossie net, fans and air conditioning. A couple of balconies looked over the refreshing pool, with cooling greenery and a visiting turtle. Esther and Andy are so welcoming, full of advice and made our stay even better. Hazel’s breakfasts were varied and always delicious. Area is safe and friendly, close to good restaurants and an easy walk to the centre. A perfect stay. Would definitely recommend.

The only thing you really need to really know: I came for 2 nights and stayed 4 weeks! The owners Esther and Andy are great hosts, they provide you with all the information about Granada and Nicargua you need. Togehter with Hazel they keep the hotel very clean and safe and every morning there is free coffee and breakfast. The rooms are colonia; and therefore very spcacious. They come with aircoditing and a private bathroom/shower. There is a pool inside the garden. Highly recommanded!

Wonderful 3 night stay at Casa Cubana, we had two of the four rooms available, one of which was the balcony room overlooking the courtyard. Both bedrooms were beautifully appointed and the courtyard setting was wonderful and a lovely place to relax. Breakfast was prepared fresh every morning and taken at a communal dining table, which was very social. The location of the hotel is a short stroll away.from the town centre and our host Esther was a mine of information about places to eat & visit. Esther arranged a kayaking trip around the Isletas with Vladimir which is highly recommended and we also visited Volcan Mombacho and Masaya while we were there. We loved our stay at Casa Cubana, thank you!

Wow. We had the pleasure of staying five nights at Casa Cubana and this little boutique hotel is a gem. All the praise from older reviews is still true. Casa Cubana is an oasis in a picturesque town. We extended an extra night and both of our rooms were absolutely lovely. Well appointed with love to details, comfortable and spotless clean. It's the perfect place to hangout and chill in a wonderful environment. Breakfast was made with love and super fresh ingredients every morning. The hotel itself is a great find already (and I have stayed in a number of wonderful boutique hotels). What this place sets apart from other cozy and well appointed hotels are Esther, Andy and Hazel. We not only fell in love with Casa Cubana but felt home after a short while. Esther, the manager makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. In fact, communication was easy m great before we even arrived. She will (literally) go any extra mile for you and was not only interesting to talk to but also a great help by suggesting places and organising day trips. We also liked the interaction with other guests (all of them were regulars to Casa Cubana and we can see why they keep coming back). So will we for sure. Thanks again for everything.
