Rixos Sungate - the Land of Legends Access

I would like to thank the Rixos World Class Team, namely Angelina, Eleonora, Obi, Gregory for their professionalism. Kangoo jumping and sup absolute love. In general, activity suits tastes, everyone will find something to do. Special thanks to the Receptionist Abdul, who listened to us, took into account our wishes and found a wonderful room in the new building. If you are coming to find fault with the food, with outdated rooms, then this is not the place for you. we come for the positive. We will definitely be back in May.

It was just all mega great. Cleanliness, food, children's club, gym, beach, Pool, music, whole facility just great. Everything is Amazing. Many retreat options.Staff nice and polite. Great evening program …………………………………………………………………………

Absolutely fantastic hotel, very well laid out and extremely clean. The beautiful pools are so big, we never had an issue getting a sunbed in a great location irrespective of what time we arrived. Evening entertainment very good and enjoyable and the food was varied and always of the highest standard. All of the staff are exceptionally helpful and they can not do enough for you. Special mentions to Saruman - the fantastic roller skating barman who kept our glasses topped up by the pool all the time, Mustafa, who went above and beyond to ensure our drinks remained cold, and the beautiful Derya whose evening service to us was absolutely amazing. All in all a lovely resort and a very relaxing holiday

The hospitality and interaction of the staff was excellent, the room space was very well designed and the cleaning of the rooms was excellent and we had a good stay. Every thing is excellent poll baar gym and more .. Thanks so so so muche ......

Advantages: The hotel was great. Staff were nice and friendly. Rooms and areas were clean. Amazing shows, specially rixy fairy tales. Afternoon DJ’s were great. Croissant in the afternoon was delicious. Rixy club is very nice for kids. Disadvantages: some rixy club workshops were not available (cooking, dance). Sea foods for 7 days stay were not enough. Lotus bar menu wasn’t available and it is hard to choose (it is highly recommended to consider the menu in rixos app.). Pastry is not available in hotel (except in rixy club!)

The hotel is great overall, food is good and theres loads of it, everything is clean. Plenty of sunbeds and pools to chose from, and ypu will never get board with all the adult and children's activities to do. But its one downfall is if you have young children or your not one for staying up all night the late night rave music by the beach will keep you up half the night even if you have your balcony doors shut, it seems like it's been getting louder and louder every night, we now have got to the point where we have to wait for it to finish before considering sleep. Has spoilt a great holiday. I'm all for people having fun but where it doesn't after others. Many other places I've been to the nightclub is contained, so no noise for those who don't want to dance all night

Currently staying at the Rixos, this is the third Rixos we’ve stayed at and honestly; first impressions are poor. My 18 month old daughter has a dairy allergy, having used Rixos before we were hopeful that this would be dealt with amazingly here. We’ve arrived to find that none of the food is labelled. Not one. We even scanned a QR code earlier at breakfast and the ingredients listed in the oatmeal? ‘None’. We’ve been to guest relations who have told us we need to order each meal with them 3 hours before she eats. There isn’t a menu so we have no idea what to order just order something. The only reason I’ve given this a 2* not a 1* is because at least they’re willing to cook something. However, you try and plan your holiday down to the hour with a one year old napping all over the place! When we visit any other hotel (this is her fourth holiday) all foods are labelled. I understand the risk of cross contamination and we understand that as a buffet this is a problem. But each allergy is different and knowing that she now can’t have the experience of the holiday is poor. Especially when we’ve paid £5k to be here. We emailed beforehand asking about the accessibility of Oat Milk as this is what she drinks, but having asked two members of staff this morning it took a real hunt to find a member of staff who had any idea what we were talking about and to provide it. Once again, at other Rixos they’ve given us cartons for the room because they know she’s a young toddler and they wanted to give us the easiest route. My daughter isn’t a kid who eats beige food, she loves different foods and to eat off our plates. So to sit with her at each meal now having pre planned and hoping she’ll eat it at this point is a lot more work than being at home and just feeding her. The exact opposite of what a holiday should be. Rixos Sungate need to do better. Take a leaf out of Rixos seagate who were outstanding and gave us an allergen card immediately so there was no communication barrier. I’ll update the review should we get any better treatment but so far, it has been an infuriating first day. I don’t dare mention I’m gluten intolerant…

Just completed a 7 day holiday at Rixos Sungate. We went as 2 families with kids aged 3,6 and 7. The hotel was superb. I’ve never seen anything near as impressive for children. The Rixys area was superb with slides, classes, soft play, outdoor park… just to name a few things. We spent the days by the large pool. Service from the waiters on roller blades was on point. We would typically go to one of the quieter pools to chill before getting changed in the evening. We didn’t use any a la cartes… with young kids we are in and out of the buffet. It was varied and tasty. We didn’t see a need to go to the restaurants to be honest. The staff are superb. All very friendly and professional. The gym is excellent with things to do all day long. The room we stayed in was pretty basic but fine as we weren’t in it. The rest of the hotel was spotless. Highly recommend!
