Great service, food and spa! Relaxing atmosphere and well equipped gym. Had a great time and left in a relaxed state of mind! Me and my husband would love to spend more time at arken, just one night is too short to be able to experience the facility and its surroundings!

We had a very pleasant stay at Arken Hotel & Art Garden Spa in late July 2024. The staff is very attentive and dedicated. We recommend the spa area, which is very clean and has a stunning view overlooking the archipelagio of Gothenburg. We experienced the fresh sea air both outside and through the windows lying in a pool with lovely smoothies in hand - very luxurious and relaxing. The restaurant menus and the breakfast buffet were delicious, and our room was fine, too. We visited the old part of Gothenburg, Haga, which was very interesting and had a lovely atmosphere and many cafes, bakeries and shopping possibilities. Gothenburg is the second largest city of Sweden, so there is much more to be discovered! E.g. the area of “Eriksberg” was recommended to us, which we would love to visit next time in Gothenburg.

We have been to Arken hotel a few times, and always enjoyed a great experience. Apart from the excellent facilities (hotel room, Spa, restaurant, view), the staff are the best. Always friendly, professional and knowledgable. Ask for anything and they will find a solution, and never are they burdened by your request. The food is delicious and complimented by very good wine/cocktail options. The spa has numerous pools, various saunas, accross two levels. Both inside and outside, with a view of the archipelago. Ample parking on site, but also easily reachable by taxi. Leave the mobile behind, as it is a device free zone in the spa, to fully submerge yourself in your surroundings. Come winter / summer, an overnight stay at Arken garden spa will have you relaxed as if you were on a week long vacation.

This hotel is a little oasis. Although situated in the port area on the edge of the city you feel like you are out in the bush. It was so peaceful that I stayed an extra night. Excellent staff and service, great food and a wonderful spa. It will be my hotel of choice when I’m next in Gothenburg

Facility is Beautiful. Staff is great. Gym is good. Restaurant is fine. Would return and recommend. Rooms are tiny and furnishings of very basic quality. Fair for their prices and staff makes it worth it. Was here for Springsteen and they even arranged a great bus to Ullevi for the many guests who were.

Location is not the best, however they make up for it with great service, great food and a comfy spa. The spa area has both indoor and outdoor pools, plus different cold and warm saunas. They have different lounges and offer treatments as well (did not try). The rooms are nice (not too small). They have a decent TV, coffee pods and kettle for tee. The rain shower in the bathroom is super relaxing after a long day. And if you arrive to the hotel with an EV, they have an own parking lot up by the hotel with several 7kW chargers to choose from.

A good Spa outside of Gothenburg. Nice and big SPA & Wellness facilities. Good restaurant and breakfast. The rooms are good and clean. What I think is the biggest thumb up for this hotel is their quick and good eye for customer service. All interactions with the staff were friendly and they were very service minded. Which I think is not so common in Sweden. So overall a great hotel.

Risk of rubbery. A dangerous place to be. We were in the Spa and we have been asked to put our mobile and other stuff in the locker but the thieves stole our stuff. This happened in the mid-May and reported to police. The staff were not responsible while they forced us to put our phones in the lockers. No one from Hotel helped us to ease our pain. Such a terrible and horrific experience

Beautiful few hours in the spa, outdoor jacuzzi, steam room, stone sauna, ice sauna, light therapy room, dark therapy room . Great to chill out and unwind. Lunch included in the package which was great, light and full of flavour. Very enjoyable
