Golflands Motel

I’ve been staying at Golflands Motel for a couple of months now.. it’s with sadness and regret that I’m moving out soon into my own house. Having traveled all through NZ staying in motels. I was extremely surprised and astonished with Golflands Motel. Lynn who runs the motel is an absolute gem 💎 She ensures that all her guests are treated with respect and she constantly makes sure that all her guests needs are met. Her kindness helpfulness and friendliness is a 10/10 you need something you ask for it and Lynn snd het staff will help you with efficiency and a big smile. They put all their guests needs care safety first making sure that everyone is comfortable and satisfied. The staff is always smiling friendly and very helpful. And to top it off it’s located in a prime location. You have Botany Town Centre 2 min away most take aways close enough to walk. Countdown 2 min away. The Motel is literally right smack in the middle of all shopping centres ... Restaurants .. Ice Rink.and bowling fun centre. The rooms are great clean comfortable.. it’s just right and with reasonable rates You can’t go wrong.. don’t take my word for it .. next time you need a friendly comfortable motel try Golflands Motel and Speak to Lynn. If I could I’ll be happy to stay here permanently 😂🙃 🏩🛎 🛌💤 Thank you Lynne and staff you guys are truly amazing and I’ll keep on coming back here. Suzette W

Picked motel more for location then anything else. A big mistake, one will never make again. While we were not going to spend a lot of time in unit, we found the 21" TV very small for room. Only 3 sky channels, maybe the only motel in NZ without 50+ The fridge had to be unplugged each night otherwise no sleep , sounded like a train going through the unit. We left the fridge out on last day as I have never seen such a pile if dirt, dust and I think an old lollipop there. Fridge door was rusty and top of it looked like it was melting We had unit 10, a 1 bedroom unit set up for 4 guests however the only sitting was 2 barstools, what a joke and if 4 stayed not enough plates, cups etc Bedroom, black hair on wall, filthy shower and a toilet seat that was no the correct size for bowl and moved all over the place. Bed was ok at best. This motel i think is also used for government housing, and yes cars coming and going all night, people outside talking. We will never, never stay again. If we could give a minus we would have as we believe a 1 star 🌟 is too high
