I recently had a disappointing experience at this hotel, marked by a series of unpleasant issues. The biggest source of dissatisfaction was the fact that we were given a completely different room from the one we had originally booked. We had opted for a "concept" room, but instead, we were placed in another "concept" room, which turned out to be a "Double Sea View," setting a rather awkward tone for our stay. An extremely unpleasant aspect that we noticed was the predominance of Romanian guests who had chosen this "concept" room and received the exact same service as us, despite our initial reservation. It seems that most Romanians were lucky enough to book after everyone else, and the hotel no longer had the desired rooms available (even though we had made our reservation five months in advance). This created an atmosphere of noticeable differentiation from other nationalities present at the hotel, which did not contribute to a pleasant experience. We were forced to make numerous complaints at the reception, talk to the front desk manager, and even interact with the marketing department in an attempt to get the room we had originally reserved. It was only after speaking with the head manager that we finally received the desired room. Another problem was related to the amenities included in the "concept" room package. In the first room we were assigned, we found that there was a significant difference in the complimentary items, such as the beach bag, which was much smaller than the one we received in the subsequent room (half the size). This indicated a lack of attention to detail and an obvious attempt to cut costs at the expense of guest comfort. Furthermore, we were unfortunate to discover that in the initial room we were placed in, the window was partially tilted, creating a gap between the window and the wall. We reported this issue to the reception on the first evening, but subsequent interventions did not resolve the problem. We had to improvise by inserting a piece of cardboard under the window to close the gap and ensure an acceptable sleeping environment. Another negative aspect was the absence of bathroom ventilators, which led to unpleasant odors, and at times, sewer smells from the showers. This negligence only added to our frustrations during our stay. Finally, what bothered me the most was overhearing a comment from the staff during their discussion with some drunk customers of a different nationality, stating that we were dissatisfied and complained for no reason, and making derogatory remarks about Romanians being notorious heavy drinkers and not knowing any better. This discriminatory and offensive comment left us feeling cornered and disrespected. All customers should be treated with respect and professionalism, regardless of their nationality. In conclusion, I would not recommend this hotel, and I suggest that everyone should voice their concerns and stand up for themselves when receiving inadequate services. Our money
