Bale Sampan Boutique Bungalows

Everithing was very good, very good breakfast (also gluten free option) . Bungalow very nice and and big space.

We are regular travellers to the Gilis and always stay at Bale Sampan when we go to Gili T.It has a more transiant feel to it these days with people coming going overnight and then moving on.We had 6 days and were sick for the first 3 so I suppose that puts a damper on your stay.We were welcomed back with a personal message on our bed and the rooms were just as they were and fine.Comfortable bed,frersh water and no plastics(which I love)Nice toiletries,plenty of towels,cloths dryers and nice outdoor chair.We love the cats at this hotel and they are a draw card for us as we spend a lot of time with them.All healthy,sterilized and FAT from being fed.100m up the road is Turtle point and boy are there turtles there.3ft of water and you are swimming with them and have to be careful you dont run into them.The location of Bale Sampan is great too because you are on the main ***** but its quiet and no nightclubs keeping you awake all night.The mosque is noisy as its maybe 200m away but I love the Call to Prayers so even the 5am call is soothing.Not for all and just mentioned if you like your sleep in.The breakfasts are OK but there isnt so many options of juices.Its watermelon and not great.Eggs,noodles,muslies and panecakes but it gets old.Great barista coffees and fresh fruits but eat early.We went snorkelling one morning before breakfast and came back to the restaurant packed with non guests and nearly an hour wait for our breakfast and had to call them over to order.We ordered lunch one day and asked for tomato and cucumber in our roll.Roll arrived and wasnt what ever ordered being ham and we got pulled chicken but ate it anyway not to make a fuss and then they turned up with our original order.Wouldnt recomment the bagettes and they used to be divine.The staff were fine but not the bubbly people there on previous visits,We opted not to have our room cleaned for a couple of days due to the one time they had done it him took an hour to make a beautiful decoration on the bed and we had to wait outside for him to finish and we just wanted to lie down and relax.After that all our empty bottles and cans were left for 4 days on our verandah and no ashtrays emptied off the table and around the pool.They need to be onto cleaning up outside the rooms.No dinners as the kitchen closes at 6pm but there are so many restaurants right across the road.Bicycle hire,snorkelling gear hire and you can book tours as well.Sun chairs on the beach which was great so we could have 2 of the 4 beds by the pool.We will still stay here again but Im sure for the price there are better options in the same area.

Great service and atmosphere. Really friendly service. we were there for a week and the team got to know us. Seems that nothing was to hard for them. As were were there on shoulder season, they would shop around on our behalf for a good deal, such as our snorkeling trip, boat to Padang Bai, bike hire. Its in the perfect place, just outside of the main action spots in town so a little quieter and more relaxed. Snorkeling right off the beach was also cool. Priced well and rooms adequate, loved the open roofed bathroom. the USB stick full of films for the TV was an added bonus.

A group of friends travelled to the Gili Islands for a 50th birthday. We stayed at the Bale Sampan on Gili Trewangan and it was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect, across the road from the beach and close to restaurants, massages, a yoga studio and shops. The restaurant at the Bale Sampan was terrific. The food was great, fresh, delicious and presented really nicely. I would highly recommend the Bale Sampan to anyone visiting Gili T.

We were 2 couples. We stayed at Bale Sampan for 2 weeks. It was a wonderful experience. The rooms were lovely and clean and the young men cleaning did an amazing job on our bed decorations with the towels and flowers. The most beautiful we have ever seen. The hotel was in a great location, central to everything. The food was awesome as well. Yummmy bowl in the morning. The best part of our stay was the staff. Wow. So helpful, so kind, always remembering our names. Helping us when we were sick. Special requests, Etc. just Wow. They are all very special men. We would like to thank them. Especially Densel, Fen, the manager. Oh dang my memory, I can’t remember all there names. I’m sorry. They’d remember ours. I know that. Thanks Bale Sampan for the amazing time. Larry and Leslie. Everything is perfect, its my fourth time in bale sempan, and its worth it, the staff is super friendly, the manager is professional, the rooms are spacious, super clean and the bed is comftable, the hotel is clean, from entrance across pool the garden . Can only recommend it . Will be back . A special thank you to all the staff for the beautiful bed deco congratulating us for our honeymoon

My family and I have just returned from Gili T after a two week diving holiday. We stayed at Bale Sampan Bungalows for the duration of the two weeks and I can highly recommend the team and the facilities. The restaurant and cleaning staff were amazing. We were especially impressed with the friendliness and caring nature of the team. Many days we were surprised with awesome decorations in our room and the team really made us feel at home. On our last day in Gili T, our son got a bit unwell. The guys were so amazing and sent notes and fruit to the room wishing him a speedy recovery. We will be back and I would not hesitate to recommend Bale Sampan Bungalows Regards, The Riddick Family.

We stayed 6 nights at Bale Sampan on our 2nd visit to Gili T after almost 10 years. Cannot speak highly enough of the staff and facilities at Bale Sampan particularly given it’s fairly modest cost. Vilas are clean and spacious with good aircon and movies available. Directly across to their private beach with tables and lounges. We snorkelled every day off the beach and saw plenty of turtles and millions of fish. Bale T package included yummy cooked breakfast and some of the best coffee in Bali. Visited number of local eateries all within 10min walk highly recommend Jali restaurant (pays to make reservation) and My House. Yes the local Mosque is close by but you get used to the call to prayer 5 times each day. Other than that would highly recommend Bale T for a relaxing stay which is close to all bars and nightlife if that’s what you are looking for but far enough away that it won’t disturb your rest.

Bella struttura di fronte al mare con spiaggia e lettini privati. Menù ottimo e tante le opzioni senza glutine (anche pane!!!!) e camere pulite con bagno all'esterno in un piccolo giardinetto molto curato. Bella esperienza e staff molto accogliente pronto ad aiutarci sempre! Marianna e Andrea
