Red Roof Inn Georgetown, IN – Louisville West

The staff was friendly. The hotel itself was mostly clean. Our room was fine, but it did feel very musty like a shower room a lot. The stay was good overall. I did receive an email stating I gave the hotel 4/10, but I didn't review the hotel prior to this. I am unsure what happened, unless opening this window prior sent something. I would give the stay a 7.5/ 8 out of ten. We liked the location of our room for our dog, and the cleaning staff gave us extra supplies no problem. We would stay again.

One of the best low cost hotels we've stayed at. They seem to care quite a lot. - We stayed here a few days while our road was being worked on about 8 miles away. Nice safe area. - Underside of grab bar in bathtub is dirty - might be mold (minor issue) - Decent swimming pool outside - No odd smells or sticky floors - have ran into this at other low priced hotels - Tub is a triangle - made it fairly roomy - Good hot water, OK water pressure - Lounging armchair & desk chair - Beds are comfortable - Dispensers for soap, shampoo & conditioner - better than those little bottles & bars of soap - Frig & microwave - Nicer than expected with such a low price per night - Next door to a McDonald's - on other side of a line of trees - can't see it from hotel lot - a positive - No exercise facilities - was not expected at this price - We would stay here again no doubt

The hotel allows pets, so the rooms are not carpeted, which is a good thing. However, the room had a bit of a musty smell. The staff were all wonderful and it was a nice quiet location with a nice relaxing gazebo area outside for relaxing, and meeting fellow guests. The only issue we experienced were that the beds are a bit too hard, a nice thick mattress pad could take care of that. Thank you for having us. We had a great mini Vacay.

Pool is small but enough to cool you down. I almost got locked in the bathroom. The door was not lock but we couldn’t get it open!!! I let the front desk know it took 2 people pushing to get the door open. Also pets are allowed but you cannot leave them alone in the room. There is no breakfast either which I knew none of this until I was at the hotel. It’s not posted anywhere.

Dont Sleep on. Sleep at this Red Roof Inn. Best budget hotel we have stayed at in the area.

It was mostly fine. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly enough. We didn't stay long enough to check out the pool. They had combo shampoo/conditioner so maybe bring your own if you're picky about that. Only real complaint was that the hallway upstairs by our room smelled really weird, kind of like old grease at a restaurant. It was kind of off putting, but the room itself smelled fine.

Staff was so friendly and great to us as we’re waiting for the closing on our house. Wish we could have stayed more. Thanks staff of red roof Georgetown!

We checked in late after driving 450 miles. Quiet location. Well maintained. Friendly staff. Great experience all around.

Price was good, there is no breakfast buffet (which is fine) but McDonalds is next door. Triangular shower looked odd but worked well with good water pressure and temp control. HVAC worked well, put fan on high when not in room, low to sleep. The pet cleaner scent was strong but tolerable. We are not big on pet friendly motels but only heard a couple barks once then no more, so okay. Had work ladders in back of truck and no one bothered them. Parking was fine, saw back corner had a couple spots for utility or boat trailers. We will be having additional 3 day stays each month, most likely here.
