Room is comfortable. Service is excellent. Breakfast is good. Centralised location. But parking is difficult during the day as location near Indian street.

在小印度區域裏面，環境蠻好，店家很熱情很好聊天。 旁邊去娘惹博物館很近，每天的早餐都不重樣很好吃。 就是房間陽光不太好，需要去屋外有天井。

Such an amazing hotel!! The staff was very attentive and thoughtful. When we weren’t able to have breakfast on our last day they packed us some to go bags for the plane. The hotel itself is beautiful and historical. Location is great- easily walkable to all the main attractions. They also have amazing air conditioning which was very important in the Malaysian heat! I could not recommend staying here more!

Great location to enjoy Georgetown & Penang area. Exemplary staff who pay attention to details and anticipates needs well. Wi-Fi is there but mostly accessed in the open areas. Room was always refreshed when we returned from activities.

This is a historic mansion that has been tastefully restored without forgetting modern necessities. Take time to ask the helpful staff about the deep history of the mansion and its historical previous owners from many years ago. If you want to be close enough to just about everything in Georgetown without being too close to areas folks from the US might be a bit uncomfortable with, this is the place for you. It still is proximal enough for a real authentic experience.

We just loved Georgetown and this is a beautiful and distinctive boutique heritage hotel just on the edge of bustling Little India. Perfect place for exploring - we stayed three nights but should have been longer. Next time! The restoration is amazing and atmospheric Highly recommended and great value.

We absolutely loved the hotel’s decoration and services, but what truly made our stay exceptional was the hospitality provided by the manager, Ms. Aitee. She was incredibly warm and friendly, and she recommended local food spots that she and her friends enjoy. Her genuine care and attention made our experience unforgettable. I will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to others!

Lovely property in the heart of Georgetown's UNESCO core zone. It is a 7 room boutique hotel in a carefully and beautifully restored Chinese mansion. It has two serene interior courtyards and the room we stayed in (Nutmeg A) was comfortable with a large bathroom. It was one of two on the ground floor - others are upstairs or a combination of both levels - which is a bonus for people with some mobility constraints. There is access to a shared kitchen with fridge and freezer and good wi-fi. The restoration has beautifully captured the building's heritage and is meticulously cared for with staff diligently washing windows, removing dead leaves and general cleaning each day. Bedrooms are tidied twice a day. The front office staff are delightful and very helpful with advice on restaurants and activities. We stayed there 5 nights and it was a peaceful 'home away from home' even though it is on the boundary of the vibrant Little India. Highly recommended and great value.
