Super service, flexible, clean and cozy. We enjoyed our stay. Sandwiches and coffee specially prepared for the return journey in the early morning. A cozy interior and complete breakfast. Very service-oriented hostess who tries to please everyone.

Wonder host/owner of the hotel checked us in. Very friendly and welcoming, she made me smile as soon as I walked in. Location was quite nice, the views from the hotel were amazing. The Austrian Alps literally sat on your lap as you sit outside. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Restaurant was amazing!!! Also, schnapps selection wasn't half bad. Our only complaint was, we didn't spend enough time there. Would stay an extra day next time we visit.

This was my first time, and definitely not my last time, staying at Hotel Maximilian. Gabi was an amazing owner who takes of her guests needs and treats you like family. Top notch chief who prepared wonderful dinners every night, from the garlic soup, to the Wiener Schnitzel, and of course the home made Viennese Apfelstrudel. Plus you are so close to so many attractions like hiking trails, ski resorts, and museums.

We recently stayed at Hotel Maximilian for business, our second stay there. Everything about the hotel is wonderful, from the owners, staff, and service, to the food and a**osphere. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Austria.

This is a great family run hotel in a relaxed location near Reutte. The rooms were incredibly clean. The food at breakfast and dinner was exceptional. All of the staff were very helpful with questions about sightseeing and local activities. I highly recommend both the hotel and restaurant. I cannot wait to visit again.

Wonderful staff, exceptional restaurant. Rooms were very cozy and clean. Beds were comfortable. Hotel was very clean and neat. Next time I go to Reutte, this will be the place I will be staying. Such a nice place!

I had a great five day stay at the Maximilian on business, and some family members were also there for the first two days. Business colleagues joined us there for dinner one evening. It was actually my third stay over the last six years or so, and the hotel never ceases to delight. Family-owned and run with efficient and friendly management and staff. Great dining area - nice breakfast included and a very high quality restaurant indeed for dinner at reasonable prices. Nice bar area or you can sit outside for a drink. All non-smoking. Clean, bright, roomy bedrooms and bathrooms; some with balconies. Nice walks nearby along the river or up to the Ehrenburg castle. Plenty of free parking. Really great place - I highly recommend. Nice play area for young kids, and a game room for older ones.

We were met by friendly staff during our check in. Lots of information and tips on activities. We enjoyed a great breakfast as well. The friendliness didn’t stop there. During our check out, we were also given tips on which way to go to maximize the views during our road trip. Highly recommend to others!

This was our second stay at Hotel Maximilian. We have been treated so well by the hotel staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and went beyond our expectations to take care of us. The hotel feels like a cozy and attractive home away from home. The included breakfast had high quality and many choices. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and carefully prepared. All together this hotel provides a great value, and the quiet setting close to so many places in Austria and Germany is ideal. We will happily return to Hotel Maximiian anytime we visit this area.
