Amenities are relatively old since it's not yet renovated to Leonardo style remains old furnitures. bedding and towels remains clean.

Fantastically located on the quayside. The hotel has parking spaces but these are limited and therefore I parked at the car park opposite Gateshead college, around 6 mins walk away. Tbh it was cheaper to park there than the hotel car park and not that far. The hotel itself is nicely presented and the adjoined bar on the ground floor also has outdoor seating so that you may enjoy the views. The views itself are very decent from the room I was in. The room was very clean apart from a few handprint stains on the wall above the toilet in the bathroom. They looked more like old stains which probably wouldn’t come out unless it was painted again. Can’t comment on breakfast as I didn’t have any, but the hotel provided a complimentary coffee voucher from the bar and also some money off food from their restaurant.
Overall a nice hotel and would stay again if ever in the area.

Nice view of the river from my room. Room was clean and the lady at the front desk was helpful.
Not much beside the hotel but 5 mins walk from the millennium bridge and the Glasshouse international centre. I noticed some buses coming past (there’s offices nearby) which may take you into town but it’s be 25 mins or so to walk to centre of Newcastle I think

Was staying for a week with work breakfast was not till 7 and i needed to be at work 7.30 which meant i wouldnt have time to sit and eat a full breakfast so i made my self a sandwich to eat on the way. Then 1 day a jobsworth told me it wasnt allowed then the next day she spoke to me a naughty school boy saying your not making a sandwich today are you. I'd paid £10 or £12 a day for breakfast and didnt think 1 toast justified the price

The permanent staff are what made our brief stay. Positioned in a super spot near to Millennium bridge and Quays area, the hotel is warm and welcoming. Our second floor room overlooking the river was small but very comfortable with a fantastic mattress (important for a good night's sleep). Decor is a little dated but clean and fine.
Our main issue was the kitchen; we'd ordered food in the evening but when my husband's lasagne came out, the top was lukewarm and when I poked my finger in it was still icy cold at the bottom, quite a health risk.
I have to say the staff couldn't have been more apologetic and kind - the meal costs were fully refunded and we did not have to pay for our on site parking.
We will return but it did put a dampener on our evening after we'd spent a lovely time watching and listening to Dark Side of the Moon at the Life Science Centre.

We have stayed here several times and always find the staff friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable! Parking available at the hotel (£8.50 for 24 hours) it is situated along the Tyne on the Gateshead side & has easy access to the millennium Bridge and local attractions. Recommended.
