The Staudacherhof was an amazing experience that I cannot recommend enough. The service was incredible, the spa was clean and offered the most relaxing experience, the food was fantastic- from the amazing breakfast buffet (with excellent coffee), to cake in the afternoons, and dinner—I was planning on dining around Garmisch, but the food was so good at Staudacherhof that I didn’t go anywhere else! This hotel and the amazing staff exceeded all of my expectations and I am already planning my next trip.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and the service was outstanding. The staff was very welcoming and the check-in process was easy. The breakfast buffet was great and the location was very good as we were able to walk to restaurants on the main street. Our trip was in September and the room did NOT have air conditioning, so that is something to consider depending on the temperature. Overall, we would recommend if you are visiting the area.

You will not find better quality for this value. Everything you can expect, and even more. For me it exceeded all expectations. The restaurant is available at all times: you have extensive choices at breakfast, lunch and afternoon cakes, and a 5-course dinner on daily basis. Feel free to take half-board or full-board if it suits you. We stayed in the Farmhouse which is located separately from the hotel building, there are spacious rooms there. SPA area, the lounge with local beers, ski shuttle and ski storage, attention to details and many other things that will make your stay a unique experience.

We would definitely recommend this lovely boutique hotel. The Staudacherhof offers so much for the size of the hotel. You get all amenities of a larger 5 star hotel. A buffet breakfast with something for every palette and diet is included with your reservation. There is also a complimentary drink at check in and a lunch of delicious soup and assorted breads and spreads. We missed most of the afternoon cake offerings (2pm-4pm), but it's an added treat. The hotel staff are exceptionally helpful and professional. The hotel is conveniently located to a host of shops and restaurants. Our last minute reservation was ideal for a 2 night visit, but would certainly stay longer.

Great place to stay a short distance from Garish and easy access to great hikes in the area. Afternoon lunch after a day of hiking was a perfect end to the day. Soups were excellent. Maybe the best meal of the stay. Staff was friendly and helpful making for a wonderful stay.

Lovely hotel - food was good, spa area again very relaxing - lovely room with a view of the mountains. The hotel reflected its area and you could tell by the superb personal service was family owned. Was close to the town centre if you want to shop/eat out. Was also close to the lifts/main hiking areas. Cant fault it at all.

Very nice hotel, fully furnished bedrooms, excellent spa, gorgeous breakfasts BUT as a contrast the restaurant is not up to the expectation one has when choosing a 4Stars Superior: the menu is limited and the personnel is not very well organised. For i.e. the food arrives before the wine (!), which is a nonsense. Should this 'evening limitation' be cleared up, Staudacherhof has all the features to be number ONE in Garmisch!

We spent the kids half term week here, enjoying amazing weather and more importantly, quality time in the lounge by the fire, storytelling and having a wonderful time with much laughter. The team at this family run hotel were excellent. Always willing to help and assist from ski school to roses on Valentine’s Day. Great hospitality and impressive Spa facilities for a small hotel.

We had a great stay at this hotel and could not recommend it more. The staff were more friendly than anywhere else i’ve stayed. We’d like to give a special thanks to Christian. The spa facilities were lovely and there were lots of good walking trails in the area. The town was also buzzy and pretty. The food each night at the hotel was lovely and amazing value.
