We have been visiting since 2004. The family continues to set the bar high with their exceptional product from check-in to check-out where the room was spotlessly clean and fully functional with a view that lasts forever. All meal services continue to meet or exceed expectations in variety, quality, and presentation where they are working through their dinner service options this year. The spa continues to excel, exceeding expectations across all facets - the pool seating area is the best while soaking up the surrounding mountains. The property is located very close to town, making it very walkable. The staff continue to be respectful and courteous, providing outstanding service with a smorgasbord of opportunities to keep you busy while visiting this fine residence and wonderful region of Bayern. We’ll be seeing you again next fall!

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed at. Wonderful staff, ambiance and the Spa was amazing. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Short walk to the downtown area.

I had a fantastic stay at Staudacherhof in Garmisch-Partenkirchen! The breakfast was absolutely superb, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options that made every morning a delight. The spa area was a real highlight—spacious, well-designed, and the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the Bavarian Alps, making the experience feel luxurious and relaxing. While the rooms were on the smaller side, they were comfortable and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The hotel's location is also good, offering easy access to both the town and surrounding nature. Overall, Staudacherhof exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend it for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway!

Disappointed. I stayed at the Staudacherhof based on a friend's advice, where he said that this was one of the best places he ever had stayed. I did not find this to be the case at all. While the hotel was nice, it was an average experience, without anything standing out to me. I thought it was expensive, the food average, and the staff pleasant but nothing above and beyond. Wish I had stayed somewhere else, especially for the cost.

If you are in the Garmish area and just looking for the "perfect" hotel, this is it! There is nothing that wont be happy with. If you here to ski, I gather you are about a 10 minute drive to the closest location. Dont let that stop you! This is and should be a 5 Star hotel!

I truly enjoyed my staying at the Staudacherhof. It was a true Bavarian style yet finely remodeled hotel in the middle of Garmisch-Partenkirchen off from bustling tourists traffics and car traffics. Quiet and cozy place with rushed garden with flowers and trees. Spa facilities with many choices of saunas, both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and many relaxation area with chairs and beds surrounded by great mountain views. Fine dining choices in in-house restaurants and great drinks choices in in-house bar. Friendly staffs and helpful guest services at the front desk. All these made my staying comfortable and relaxed. Highly recommended if you want to look for a hotel to relax at the same time to have convenience of having fine dining and enjoying spa experiences all together! I stayed at their Alpine single room about 9 nights. As it described, it was a small but all mighty with all necessary stuffs for one person to stay comfortably. Highly recommended if you are a solo-traveler like me!

The Staudacherhof was an amazing experience that I cannot recommend enough. The service was incredible, the spa was clean and offered the most relaxing experience, the food was fantastic- from the amazing breakfast buffet (with excellent coffee), to cake in the afternoons, and dinner—I was planning on dining around Garmisch, but the food was so good at Staudacherhof that I didn’t go anywhere else! This hotel and the amazing staff exceeded all of my expectations and I am already planning my next trip.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and the service was outstanding. The staff was very welcoming and the check-in process was easy. The breakfast buffet was great and the location was very good as we were able to walk to restaurants on the main street. Our trip was in September and the room did NOT have air conditioning, so that is something to consider depending on the temperature. Overall, we would recommend if you are visiting the area.
