Great service and wonderful people 🙏 I think that a 5/5 score still doesn’t reflect the exceptional service and hospitality we experienced there.
Fernando is a respectful man that makes great coffee. Simone was great and very helpful, I would definitely come back one day! Thanks to everyone that works there for this wonderful hospitality and great service. No wonder why this hotel is still open since 1930 😍

Wonderful family run hotel with great views from the mountains. The restaurant was so good that we never went anywhere else and simply tried almost everything on their menu! No better place for the best of Italian regional cuisine. The staff just couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming. We loved every minute of our visit.

Very friendly family run hotel. Room had amazing sea view and was fully air conditioned with comfortable beds. Food served on balcony was a wonderful way to experience the region’s gastronomy and we decided to stay in every night and work through the menu rather than eat out. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

If we could give this 6 stars we would! Where to start…. We were stranded at our previous hotel due to road closures, where our previous hotel couldn’t help, Simona arranged a driver to collect us for a long and tricky journey to baccofurore at a reasonable cost for the journey! On arrival we were greeted by name and checked in seamlessly. The room is amazing full of all the mod cons and more than you would expect. Clean, comfortable, amazing shower/spa and still, somehow managing to retain Rustic charm. Rita for the wine tour was amazing and passionate and knowledgeable. Great addition to our short stay. The food….. well, it’s outstanding from the service and introduction of what we are eating and drinking to the food itself, by far our best experience on the amalfi coast. The views were fabulous but baccofurore didn’t ride on this wave they went above and beyond in every aspect. One warning! The walk to fjord furore is brutal and nearly broke us but proud we did it!! Give yourself a good 4 hours!

Our family of six adults were made to feel like we stayed with family. We arrived, had a beautiful lunch and then went down to our rooms. We had been previously told our rooms were a bit a ways away from the main lobby, so it was not an issue. Every morning we got the “special service” with Fernando and that lovely man pumped out as many double espresso or cappuccino’s we asked for…he was a delight. We had quite a few day trips planned and the staff took take of organizing every single one, no matter where it was! That made our trip! Quick heads up to fellow Americans staying at this hotel…leave your American ways behind and enjoy the Italian lifestyle of the Amalfi Coast. Try to communicate the best you can and they will do everything to make you happy. We all miss them already and would return in a heartbeat!

We had dinner here and it was one of the most spectacular meals we had during our 2 weeks in Italy. I would especially recommend the cuttlefish, it was really lovely. The area around Furore is also gorgeous. The staff are super kind and welcoming, I would definitely stay at their hotel next time!

Thank you to the amazing team at BaccoFurore Painted Hotel who took great care of me and my father during our first visit to the Amalfi Coast. Staying in Furore allowed us easy access to other provincial towns by car. My father will forever be grateful for the help he received in finding & visiting the original home where his parents’ and cousins’ lived in Furore!! A dream come true for him and me! Additional highlights include our cooking class in their Michelin-star kitchen, tasting world-class wine from the Marisa Cuomo Winery and, in general, experiencing a glimpse of life from this bountiful region with beautiful people.🙏🏼Grazie Mille!❤️

I had the best time here at Bacco Furore! The staff were more than welcoming & helpful especially Simone, Luisa, Maria, & Fernando. I also did an exquisite cooking class with Rafa that was exemplary!!! They helped me make transfer arrangements for private transfer to the train station & directed me on the bus & trails to take. The food was hands down the best I’ve had in Italy!!! It was just a little out of the way up the hill & may be difficult to get to Amalfi center. In the end, I appreciated being away from the crowd close to the clouds. They also make wonderful wine! I will be back!!! Grazie!!!

We arrived at the hotel to a room that was a bit too small for our needs. Simona was very accommodating and made sure we could switch rooms the next day That level of service continued throughout our stay with the entire staff 1.Fernando every morning greeting us with the best breakfast and Americano’s! 2.Roberto taking care of us at dinner as well as being our wonderful translator during our cooking class 3.Raffaele their head chef who made our cooking class so much fun!! Everyone at the hotel worked together to make sure We had a lovely stay. We were even driven back to our room at the end of the night. Thank you again!!!
