I like old fashion hotels, but this one just feels old. Room was extremely basic, restroom ugly, and pillows uncomfortable. Japanese breakfast was elegant but hard to digests. The buffet breakfast had some options, but still limited. But the worst part is that you need to pay extra usd 22 to use a small gym! I wish I knew earlier… I won’t stay here again. Location is convenient though just walking distance from the station.

This is the most disgusting and despicable thing any hotel management can do is to chase my father off the premises when he was waiting quietly for me downstairs to have breakfast. I am staying with my mother in this hotel and since they’re not together anymore, my father decided to wait for me at the quiet third floor banquet. I was just getting ready to meet my father when the security manager and his team of security threatened my father with Police to arrest him! To which my father replied that his lawyer will sue them for malicious prosecution! Since he was just quietly sitting at the sofa waiting for his son to come down! Not having issues. Eventually, my father removed himself from the hotel but yet; the security manager was physically manhandling my father while at the lobby by grabbing his arm even though he was walking normally! The security manager was just trying to create a scene with my father. DO NOT STAY HERE! These people here are vile and vindictive in their demeanours! Totally unprofessional and have no work ethics! No services from the heart ❤️ They are a total disgrace to the hospitality industry! Definitely not a 5 Star Hotel in services but more like a putrid fish market!

The landlord is Japanese, the Chinese is also very good, the person is very kind, and the communication is very pleasant. The hotel abuts a convenient and central location which were walking distance within Hakata, Teijin and Canal City where a must visit for tourists. And the best of transport, Gion Station Exit 6 was a less than 1-min walk just to/ from the hotel. Hotel was surrounded by eateries some opened until late midnight. Every hotel staff I encountered from front desk, restaurant server to cashier were all delightful and eager to help. The room was very spacious when compared with room size in Japan. Breakfast was with 3 choices and we opted for authentic Japanese - grilled fish every morning. Room and food was value for money. We must return to this property when we revisit Fukuoka. Thank you.

The room is separated from wet and dry, clean and hygienic. The large public bath is great and there is free ramen at 9:30 pm. You can also drink and eat ice cream and Yakult. The disadvantage is that there are too many South Koreans, they are very noisy and arrogant. You can visit the nearby Setsuda Shrine, and the pair of ramen opposite is definitely worth eating. The location of the hotel is also good. You can basically walk to the main business district in 10 minutes.

Hotel is easy to find. We drive a car , park at the hotel during check-in about an hour then go out , No Charges. It's located just 1 station from Hakata Station. There are 7-11 , Family Mart and Max Value nearby. Room is new and very clean. Front desk service is good and helpful. Highly recommend.

The room is larger and more affordable than major Vijiho. There are many hotels that are troubled to spread the carry, but this hotel is completely fine. It is good to use the underground road P1 and P3 from the station. Also, it is convenient because it is connected to Hakata Station when walking about 500m of the underground road. It is recommended that breakfast be ramen that is done 24 hours here because it is Nakasu if you walk for a few minutes.

Restaurant is also so) ⭐️ Good ⭐️ The room was a double room but the bed was large and 16㎡ full of photos of Hakata Yamagata on the wall of the corridor! Hotel near Ryuishi kashida Jinja shrine. Security is also safe for the management woman in the building with a card. Breakfast is thick with Hakata rice (there are many small bowls such as water cooking, baked ramen, Ming Taishi, Takana)! Tonkotsu curry has a coke (^ ^) dessert with almond tofu (^_^) v coffee is brought back Okay, the type is medium and the content is satisfactory type However, there are few parking lots and there is a coin park nearby by oneself It took me time to find ng. Because it is a popular area, please be careful with full car and one night 1.700 yen (^_-) I want to stay again.

　After arriving at Fukuoka Airport, we headed to the Gion Station in front of Toyoko Inn Hakata Station, where we stayed in Fukuoka. From the airport, the ３ station was Gion Station by subway. When I got off the subway and went to the ground, there was a Toyoko inn in front of me. In other words, it was the front desk of the hotel in about １０ minutes from Fukuoka Airport. There is a famous Higashicho Ji Temple in Fukuoka Great Buddha nearby, and there is a kashida Jinja shrine in a few minutes walk, and it is a hotel in a very convenient location as a base for sightseeing. Because it is Toyoko Inn, the facilities and rooms are simple, but bright and clean. The staff was also stable, and the free breakfast seemed to be Hakata, and there was a spicy Prince Akiko.

This is my 2nd visit since 2015, and the ryokan still impressed me after all these years. Most of the points I raised in my previous post still valid, so I'll just supplement it from there. This time round, I had an even earlier flight, so I didn't go with their meal option, but even though you book a room without meal, I guess you can request for a breakfast for 525 Yen upon arrival, which I feel is worthwhile. In my opinion, the ryokan location is superb than even Hakata station, at least I don't have to squeeze past the crowd to get to the subway platform. It's just 2 mins walk from Gion subway exit 2 (no lift nor escalator) anyway, and is within short walk from Kushida Shrine and Nakasu-Kawabata Shopping Alley, there are also many eateries across the main street which opens as early as 5am and close after midnight. There is also a convenient store a stone throw away. I actually only met the host once upon checking-in, literally speaking, it's less of a minshuku and really more like a hotel, privacy well preserved. But most of the time, the only 'receptionist' is the owners' dog. LOL! Don't worry, it doesn't bark nor bite. I was allocated a room on level 2, with toilet and washing point just outside, but I needed to proceed downstair for bath. This time round, there are no queue for bath room, and I thought I heard the host went in after I left to clean up the bath room, just so the next one using can have a good bathing experience, even though I consider myself having very good bathing ethics, showering before dipping inside the bath tub. The water in the large bath tub is hot, but user can turn on the running tap to cool it down before bathing. Shampoo, soap, and towel are all provided inside the bathroom. Toothbrushes, if required, can self-obtained from the lobby, along with the many discount coupons and travel brochures. There is also 1 coin laundry available. If anything, take note that lightings are sensor controlled, so do not be alarmed when you brush you teeth half way and then the lights dim off, just shake your body a little bit, and it will be back on. Just like my previous stay, I would love to stay here again if I return to Hakata.

Oh my, I didn't take a picture of the inside of the accommodation.. haha Anyway! It was a trip for 3 people and I thought it would be better if we each had a bed. After searching diligently, I found Ann Hotel! It was exactly the same as what you saw in the picture. Clean and modern..~! I took a taxi from the airport and it didn't take long. It wasn’t bad for walking to popular places nearby! I was assigned the 9th floor, the view was nice and the staff were all friendly. However, it may be due to lack of communication between employees. They said they would clean the room one day during my 3-night stay, but they didn't do it. I asked right away and they said there was a mistake. They provided a separate towel. Anyway, that part was disappointing ㅠㅠ! Still, it was good!

I stayed in Fukuoka for one night because of the flight. I didn’t expect it to be a pleasant surprise. First of all, Fukuoka Airport is very close to the city. If you arrive domestically, you can take the subway at the terminal to the city center for 3 stops. The hotel is also nearby, less than 10 minutes’ walk away. It looks like a minute, the exterior of the hotel is a concrete clear water mold, very design sense, the interior space is also very spacious, there is free coffee and beverage buffet in the lobby, and the buffet breakfast is in the restaurant on the side of the lobby, but there are not many seats in the restaurant, we have breakfast You can only sit on the table in the lobby to eat during peak hours. If time permits, remember to go to the wrong peak. The overall experience of the Japanese service industry is quite good, with proactive service and friendly attitude. There is a temple nearby, and there are not many visitors. The city feels very comfortable and has been planted with grass. I still want to travel to this city again if I have the opportunity. It is said that Kyushu is also the first choice for many people in the country to travel in natural scenery.

It was base for visit as tourist and as hotels go was very acomadating the rooms are compact but very tidy and every item you need toiletries galore dressing gowns , slippers , water tv fridge , looks like very good Japanese restaurant on site always busy not expensive . The hotel is first rate it's compact so if you need space this is not the hotel but rooms are very nice bathrooms are very compact but actually good great shower load hot water and basket full of stuff loads of it + every type soap shampoo in dispensers very good quality , Wi-Fi was OK not super fast

A Great place to stay if you're in Fukuoka for a short visit, or even longer. If the prices remain within a sensible range I will choose to return here. The positives: • location is a short walk from Gion station, Nakasu, Kushida/Shinto shrine, Tochoji Temple and has plenty of resturants in the area to choose from. • the rooms are well cleaned before checkin, the beds are very comfortable (small double beds) and the sheets clean. • Good water pressure and reliable hot running water. • Good quality body wash and shampoo/conditioner • Free coffee available 7am to 8pm, washing facilities onsite and a basic breakfast option offored. • Good soundproofing. The negatives: • 4pm checkin, but this seems normal for Japan. • There is a luggage storage area with some locks provided but I personally dont feel this is very safe should someone choose to act (there are security cameras in public areas covering the luggage storage) • No room cleaning service, an additional 3000Y charge if requested. • The rooms are equiped with tablets for services such as checking out, the cameras should probably have locks/covers provided.

I chose the washbasin on the bed side and the bath and toilet are separated. Because it was used by a private car, after arriving, I told the front desk to use the parking lot in the hotel, and the three-dimensional parking lot cannot be used by the approach of typhoon 14, so please look for the parking lot by yourself. Then, I wanted to guide you by the map with the parking lot near the hotel at least. I was disappointed to think that the stress of looking for parking while examining parking fees in the land I didn't know was not understood by this hotel.

Not being able to find any traditional ryokan in the city of Fukuoka/Hakata, we booked a two-bedroom, one-bath apartment in Hakata. The place was very clean and comfortable, and even came with a washing machine (which we didn't need to use). Other than no closets or dressers, the apartment served us very well; it was spacious (much more so than the typical apartment that one rents in Japan), and was conveniently located to the main street that led to Hakata JR Station. Access to the building was controlled by an entry code keypad, so there was that level of added security. Highly recommended.
