I've been to Fukuoka multiple times and previously stayed at other establishments that simply cannot match the Ritz. Got a king room for my honeymoon. Really appreciate Sanjay and rest of staff making us feel very appreciated from check-in until departure. The level of attentiveness was impressive, and people here speak good English. Location is quite good, close to metro/bus stops, Ohori park,and plenty of eateries/shopping/yatai's. Room is as modern as you'd expect. Bed and bathroom are very comfortable - other hotels are going to struggle to match this level of sophistication. I really appreciated the amount of space vs the typical Japanese hotel. Great amount of amenities. Minor suggestions for improvement - in-room snacks - we got the impression that several of the snacks were complimentary. After we checked out, we discovered that they were not, an unpleasant surprise. Some better communication here would be valuable. Late check out - as an Elite member at check-in we were told that late check out would be offered. However, on the day of I discovered that I still had to call to ask for late check out, and then I had to wait a bit until they called back to confirm. The small details matter in delivering a flawless experience. Still, these are relatively minor things and overall we were very satisfied with our stay. On our next stay to lovely Fukuoka we'd definitely only stay here. Book it, you won't regret it.

It is located in a great location with the most overlooking the city of Fukuoka, about 50 minutes by bus from Hakata Station. Founded in 1967 as ”Fukuoka Yamanokami Hotel” here! One of the oldest hotels in Fukuoka city! In September 2013, it was renewed to ”Agora Fukuoka Mountain Hotel ＆ Spa” and 〜 Spa facility ”HILLTOP SPA”, Japanese cuisine ”Calendar”, open-air garden terrace, Library, etc. were added. This time I visited for a meeting and dinner! The hotel has a stylish design 〜 I received a French course meal, which was a decent taste from the appetizer to the main. I rarely disturb you here, but I was a little interested in barbecue at the open garden terrace, so I wonder if I would come in summer 〜. Enjoy Goruemet Life ☆

ニューオタニブランドなので、それなりの期待をしていましたが、残念ながら打ち砕かれました。 ビジネス利用で朝食付きツインタイプに1人で宿泊。 部屋の広さは十分で清潔感はあり、アメニティも充実していました。古さは否めない感じですが、水回りやクローゼット等一部はリニューアルされており、空調も不快さはなく良かったです。 しかし、ベッドのマットレスは安めのモノでしょうか、寝心地は良くありません。周辺にある新しいビジネスホテルの方がよっぽどこだわりのある高品質モノが多いと感じました。 その点については、大きく期待を裏切られてしまいました。 洋食バイキングの朝食は品数がものすごく少なく、本当に残念でした。 *料理のオーダーが出来る点や、味は全般的に合格点ですが、種類が少なすぎるのは驚きを隠せず愕然としました。 朝食会場のスタッフの対応も味気なく、空いていたのに流れ作業的な感じる雑な感じ。ホテルの看板を背負っている意識は微塵も感じられませんでした。 清掃スタッフはすれ違いざまにしっかり立ち止まって挨拶されましたが、遠くに見えてスタッフは横柄な歩き方でダラダラとしていて気分が悪くなりました。 この点についても、周辺の新しいビジネスホテルの方が教育が行き届いている感じがします。 フロントスタッフの方々は、忙しそうでしたがテキパキとしていて不快さはありませんでしたが、一方で暖かさは感じませんでした。 結論、バード、ソフト、値段を勘案すると選びません。 よっぽど安ければまた泊まりたいとは思いますが、積極的にはナシです。 バードは予算の問題もあり簡単には改善出来ませんが、スタッフ教育は幾らでも出来るはずです。 気が付いたら、周辺の競合ホテルや、競合ではないランクのホテルに抜かれていた、、、そんな未来が近いホテルですね。

This is the most disgusting and despicable thing any hotel management can do is to chase my father off the premises when he was waiting quietly for me downstairs to have breakfast. I am staying with my mother in this hotel and since they’re not together anymore, my father decided to wait for me at the quiet third floor banquet. I was just getting ready to meet my father when the security manager and his team of security threatened my father with Police to arrest him! To which my father replied that his lawyer will sue them for malicious prosecution! Since he was just quietly sitting at the sofa waiting for his son to come down! Not having issues. Eventually, my father removed himself from the hotel but yet; the security manager was physically manhandling my father while at the lobby by grabbing his arm even though he was walking normally! The security manager was just trying to create a scene with my father. DO NOT STAY HERE! These people here are vile and vindictive in their demeanours! Totally unprofessional and have no work ethics! No services from the heart ❤️ They are a total disgrace to the hospitality industry! Definitely not a 5 Star Hotel in services but more like a putrid fish market!

Since extra beds are not available, we paid to upgrade to the family room type, which has two large and two small beds and four beds. There is also a living room space with an unparalleled wide sea view. Absolutely great value. If it weren't for the fact that I couldn't extend my stay, I would really like to stay here again. This should be the Hilton with the highest standards that I have stayed in besides the star hotel in Hollywood.

I used it on a business trip. The hotel building looks a little old. The room is quite spacious, but the bed is a little uncomfortable. Amenities can hardly be said to be complete, and are just the bare minimum. It's a cheap place to stay, so if you're willing to take advantage of it, there's no problem. There is a parking lot next to the hotel. After parking, it costs 1,300 yen for 24 hours.

It is very easy to move because it is close to 1 minute from Akasaka 3 exit of the subway airport line. The lobby was relaxing and I arrived before check-in, but I waited slowly. The room is also calm. I had a good time in my room. The bathroom is also a luxury space, and the shower head that I saw in the introduction of overseas hotels is fixed to the ceiling. It was a hand-held type, and the head was large and comfortable. The amenities were substantial, the dryer was solid, and it was easy to dry the hair. There was an espresso machine in the room. I could have a delicious coffee, I had a PET bottle of water, and the hardness of the bed was just right, and the bed was comfortable. There is no repeat!

From Fukuoka Airport, buy the one day subway pass (it is cheaper as you can go for unlimited rides). Take the subway from airport to akasaka station exit 5. Come out. walk 10m and turn right at first junction. Hotel is about 400 m to the right as you walk down the lane. There is a small carpark in front of the hotel and it is covenient to drop there and collect your bags. The staff is nice and welcoming. You collect what you require for your stay from the table provided at the registration area. I will come back again.

The hotel is located in a good location, about ５ minutes walk from Tenjin Akasaka Station on the subway. The pots, ramen shops and popular stalls that cannot be removed in sightseeing were all within walking distance, and it was also perfect for drinking and walking. Also, there was a convenience store right next to the hotel and there was no trouble with steep shopping. Free wifi was available in the building of course and it was a comfortable hotel.

When you open the door, there is a bed in front of you, so the room looks small at first glance, but the comfortable size bath is large and comfortable! Also, the lighting is gentle and this is also comfortable. There was a big park in front of me, and it was nice to be close to the station. Personally, of course, the theater night in the lounge and the goodness of the staff, but I met two Korean people and one Romanian person in the lounge with a good atmosphere, and I was able to talk for four hours. This is my first memory. The cleanliness and service are perfect, and I would love to stay here again if I come to Fukuoka again! ! ! Best! ! !

The place to stay chosen by the ketchkechi package tour is here. The building facilities are old, the shower booth is narrow to the limit, the foot cannot be washed, there is no hot water washing toilet seat, the wall is thin, and the belly of the next person is heard. Room is bigger than normal hotel; can see the age of the hotel but still very clean and tidy. Location is so well that we didn’t even take many metro during the whole trip. Good to stay With family as there is many restaurants and pharmacies around. Will definitely choose to stay again if I visit Fukuoka again.

A woman stayed in a dormitory alone! Usually a lot of Japanese people come here, and there are also some Westerners. There were some Koreans too. The shower facilities include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a dryer. You also receive towels. If you stay multiple nights, please ask for more towels. There was a hanger in the room so I could hang my clothes! Personally, I think the double room on the second floor might be noisy because there is a large table in front of the room and there are some people talking late. I wanted to. The dormitory is on the 3rd floor, so it was okay to chat on the 2nd floor! There was a refrigerator, airport mini oven, and microwave, and I drank water using the filtered water bottle! I had a great stay at a very reasonable price.. It has good accessibility and seems to be the perfect accommodation for sightseeing ^___^! Due to the nature of the game, it is noisy or something that is a problem for the people sharing it, but everyone was quiet and used it well.
