Apartamentos La Jabega - Fuengirola

Excellent, will definitely stay there again and would recommend to anyone. Our apartment was on the front which gave us lovely sea views all along the seafront. The studio apartment was bigger than we expected with plenty of cupboards and big wardrobe, separate kitchen and large bathroom. The room and whole place was clean and nicely decorated. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We used the restaurant a couple of times. The food was very good and would recommend. Overall Jabega is very good and will certainly be booking there again.

Hi just returned from this hotel .can not fault rooms very basic but ok . bar staff very friendly food good but after an incident in my room the reception staff left me no choice that I had to get the police involved .After 3 hours in a police station they arrived at hotel later .very helpful only to be told cameras in hotel do not cover bedroom doors .again reception not very helpful. They let the hotel down very badly. Not interested in guests welfare. Unfortunately this made feel very uncomfortable. So please be careful.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at The Jabega Hotel in Fuengirola, Malaga, this past November, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. A standout highlight of our stay was the incredible entertainment provided by Mario and Ronnie, the talented vocal and guitar duo. They truly made our evenings memorable with their amazing music, creating an atmosphere that was both lively and intimate. Their performances were the best entertainment we’ve experienced at any hotel, and we thoroughly recommend anyone visiting The Jabega to dine and enjoy the music. You won't be disappointed! The staff at the hotel were warm and welcoming, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent, and we enjoyed every meal we had there. The hotel’s location is also fantastic, with beautiful views and easy access to local attractions. We loved our stay so much that we’ve already booked for 2025, and we can't wait to return! Stayed here 3 nights and realised we had been here before a few years ago. Got an upgrade to a one bedroom apartment with a side sea view. Positives- Lovely staff Very clean. Well equipped apartment Great tv and Wi-Fi. Nice reception area Restaurant looked very reasonable though we didn’t end up eating there Good shower Great location for trains to airport/buses/supermarkets Negatives for us- The room was quite dark Large balcony but felt overlooked by hotel opposite and street noise reverberates Tiny kitchen (we travel a lot and cook a lot) Sitting area had two single beds (as apartment was for 4) and it felt a bit cluttered. Not sure we would return because of these issues which the hotel can’t really change but just not for us.

Myself and my husband stayed in Jabega for a week at the end of August/early September 2024. Fran on reception was very welcoming and helpful which made a very positive start to our stay. The apartment was a little dated but very clean and had absolutely everything you could possibly want for a self catering stay. The kitchenette was slightly snug but again had everything you needed. The hotel does not have a pool but that was absolutely not a problem as the hotel boasts a very enviable position right across the road from the beach and the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. We had a really good sized balcony and the views from it to the sea were stunning. Only slight negative is that the balconies are very overlooked by the adjacent hotel but you get over that too! The hotel is in a great position for loads of bars and restaurants and despite that, it is actually not noisy at night time. We had a lovely relaxing stay and would definitely recommend Jabega to anyone looking for a break away close to all amenities and the beach. I would also like to give a shout out to Fran on reception who is an absolute gentleman - he was so pleasant and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We would most definitely stay here again. We only had food here at their outside restaurant and found it to be average. The good itself looked and tasted as if it u ad been lifted from your home freezer. It's priced accordingly however some of the drinks where overpriced. Try it if your on a tight budget if you must.
