"The Wayside Inn is a hidden gem! Very unique aesthetic and such interesting history! It's been open since 1797! The staff were very friendly and professional; the room was clean; and it was overall very quiet. I did not get to try the restaurant, unfortunately, since it is only open Thursday through Sunday; however, there is a coffee shop next door that is a must try! It is located about 30 minutes from the northern entrance to Shenandoah National Park, which was convenient. Can't wait to go back and bring my friends and family with me!"

However, I catched 2 small insects (I have no idea how they come from outside, but most likely they were from outside). There are also some black spots on walls. Breakfast is good - eggs (boiled and scrambled) and sausages, you can also make pancakes. Staff is friendly and helpful. Totally, it is a good place to stay."
