Um incrível hotel em uma vinícola muito conhecida em Franschhoek. O hotel é lindo, tem os vinhedos, um belo jardim com um lago, a área comum é muito ampla, com salas, lareira, piscina. O café da manha excelente! Atendimento personalizado, super especial, A localização é muito boa, mas para quem vai de carro, não é no centrinho da cidade. O quarto era muito bom, cama bem grande, banheiro amplo também, mesa e cadeira. e tinha até uma pequena varanda. Sempre que saiamos o quarto era arrumado, o serviço é nota 10!!! Difícil pontuar algo negativo, foi realmente tudo muito bom. Se você não tiver de carro talvez não seja a melhor opção, principalmente se for sair a noite. Se tiver dificuldade de locomoção certifique-se de pegar um quarto no térreo.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel extremely relaxed. Frank greeted us with a warm friendly welcome, the glass of rose on arrival was also a lovely touch. We were helped with restaurant and activity recommendations. We came with our 14 year old sons so took 2 rooms. The whole house is beautiful with art at every turn. There is a gorgeous view at every angle. It's so peaceful from the water feature with coy carp to stunning scenery all around. Breakfast table was all set up for us outside with the lake and mountain backdrop. Breakfast selection was Al a carte and absolutely delicious. French toast was my fave! We will definitely be visiting again when back in SA!

This is my third visit to Holden Manz Country House which shows how much I love it. Beautiful setting, gorgeous house and rooms, v cool art & top wines - yet somehow you feel very much at home. (I wish I could live here...!) The owners Gerard & Migo and their kids are super welcoming and managers Frank and Charlene and the whole team make you feel so spoiled. They nail the casual elegance vibe and I'm already looking forward to another trip!

Very relaxing stay. The farmhouse is set at the edge of the vineyard at the opposite end of the field to the winery and tasting rooms.It is very quiet with only 5 rooms available. The staff, who are all welcoming and informative, get to know you quickly and it becomes a home from home. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The main aspect of the house is the beautiful South African artwork decorating each room with a combination of paintings and sculptures. The surrounding mountains provide a stunning backdrop and don't forget the fantastic wine.

This is a magical & stunning place. Set in its own beautiful grounds but within the HM Vineyard. . Without exception the staff are friendly & efficient . The main house is spacious, comfortable and beautifully decoratedRooms v comfortable. There is always someone there to help provide drinks, advice etc. It is a very very special place. Gerard, Migo, Frank are perfect hosts supported by a special team

Although the main house, grounds and staff were very good our room left a lot to be desired. I did ask if the room could be changed but this could not be done. Although we were offered the chance to look at an hotel across the road instead, after a long road journey, 30c heat and cases already in our room, we were tired and decided it would just be easier to stay as only 3 nights. Unfortunately the tap in the kitchen area fell off immediately when we went to fill the kettle. It was repaired the following day. The kitchen area itself was poor with no fridge, so unless we asked constantly for ice or cold water, which is a nuisance, we couldn’t keep anything cool. The tap in the bathroom was also leaking profusely and needs repairing and the arm came off the chair. The other issue with our room was a steep outside staircase which one had to negotiate with care. It was a shame as other than our classic suite 5, Holden Manz had much to offer. All the hotels on our South Africa trip lived up to expectations with the exception of room 5.

What a wonderful place! The estate is simply beautiful- manicured lawns, tranquil ponds and the most amazing views. Having delicious breakfasts on the peaceful terrace in the freshness of the morning was delightful. The owners are very friendly and the place is totally relaxed. Most of the time we were the only ones by the pool. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed. Food at the estate restaurant was extremely good. Nothing else to say really apart from we’d definitely stay again!

Firstly the location is splendid, the common areas are excellent and the staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The problem was our “classic suite” which was way below par. Steep outside stairs, very steep! No fridge and this is rated 5*. Tea making area dismal, see photo so whilst this may be a great place avoid this room at all costs.
