Beautiful boutique B&B, easy safe walking distance from town centre, but super quiet and tranquil. Staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Gorgeous breakfast, fresh fruit, continental plates of meat and cheese plus freshly baked pastries. Then cooked to order eggs etc. perfect way to start the day! Lovely quiet pool area with comfy loungers. Our room was a Superior King Suite and was lovely. Very spacious, nice touches of candles and diffusers, mini fridge and tea/coffee making facilities including milk provided. We will definitely be back, our favourite stay on our trip.

3 night stay. Room was ground floor to the side, access was through the garden gate, which was convenient as we did not have to go through the house (which was up a flight of stairs). Room was large with a separate seating area with TV, access to Netflix. Outside area with no sun. We did not use the pool which looked lovely and well kept. Lovely breakfast which was large if you ate all offered. Property is 10/15 minute walk into Franshhoek main street. Car was parked within the gates of the property. An excellent few nights.

A beautiful villa just on the outskirts of Franschoek. Our garden room was lovely and the pool was so appreciated after a very hot day on the wine team. Service was impeccable and the breakfast set us up for the day. I would recommend a car as although walkable to town we found it so useful for getting about and exploring.

Lovely family home close to the centre of Franchoek. The room was fine (bathroom door wouldn’t open or shut) and it was nice to sit by the pool (which was cloudy and unheated). Breakfast was also ok. It was very noisy during our stay as the owners were entertaining enthusiastically until late and the house is open plan.

This was the wife and my second stay at a property managed by Peter - The gentleman is truly passionate about ensuring that all guests are exposed to a service that exceeds expectations - Vive la Vie is literally within walking distance of the main road - room 1 has its own lounge and the overall size of the room is way above the average - All of Peter's properties serve the best croissants in the Winelands, with the breakfast offering worthy of 5* rating - Annelise, our host was exceptional - We also went to view the addition to Mirabelle (another of Peter's properties) and this new wing simply blew us away and we undertook to return soon - The staff over there, Elmarie and Kaylie left such a lasting impression on us that we feel their outstanding service, deserve recognition - Well done to Peter for consistently exposing us to 5* service - you are truly the best

Nice appartement with cousy feeling. Good size and clean bathroom with very good shower. (For small improvement… better light at the mirror to do the make-up my wife says) Very good bed. Pleasant to have good working WiFi and Netflix. Breakfast is superb with choices of everything and the ladies are very friendly and helpful. Pool is pretty large but during our stay a bit cold. Easy 15 minutes safe walk to downtown Franschhoek. Just good to do after a diner ;) Parking car is also easy In total a recommended stay!

A beautiful ‘cottage’ under the trees next to the sparkling pool. Our room had its own shaded stoep area with comfortable seating/table. The whole room is stylishly furnished with a nod to where you are! Could have done with a spot to hang my dresses (just a hook at would) but that’s a very minor issue. Breakfast is a delight, served by charming, attentive staff and the charming host. A really special place with a short walk into town (not far from the Franschhoek tram station). Highly recommend- we’ll be back!

Absolutely loved our stay! Room was spacious, staff was friendly and attentive, and breakfast was delicious. Also loved the proximity to the wine tram. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay more than one night!
