This is a brand new hotel directly opposite the must-visit Qinghui Gardens and a short trot to the pedestrianised commercial and food street of Shunde with a plethora of dining options. The soaring atrium lobby is impressive and primarily based on the crystal theme in the hotel's name - everything is glittery and sparkling and that includes the hotel's elegant elevators. Breakfast is particularly excellent with diverse choices including real fruit juices and a cooking station serving Shunde specialities like double skin milk and Chenchun noodles. The staff did their best to make our stay comfortable. Special mention must be made of these two receptionists : 李金 and 郭紫琼。The one disadvantage for international visitors is the lack of any non-Chinese language television channels (such as CGTN ), rather unusual for a hotel of its calibre. The location might also be unsuitable for those who wish to hang around the trendy Xintiandi ( 新天地) and heritage Zumiao ( 祖庙) areas, as it will take approximately an hour on the metro to get there.

Great stay at Oakwood. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a studio room with a great view. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. Highly recommended!

Bom hotel barato, dá para dizer que tudo poderia ser melhorado, mas aí você pensa no preço que paguei... e é o melhor que se pode conseguir. Café da manhã por 28 RMB, podemos dizer que é básico, mas é o mesmo preço que eu pagaria só por um cafezinho em alguma cafeteria. É o melhor que se pode conseguir por esse preço.

Um hotel excelente, excelente mesmo! A localização é ótima, bem ao lado do Lingnan Tiandi e do Templo Ancestral, com transporte conveniente. Fica a poucos minutos da estação de metrô. A academia e a piscina são fantásticas, e o serviço é superlativo. Reservei por dois dias, achei tão confortável que estendi por mais um dia. É realmente um hotel do qual você não quer sair. The location is not where the most tourist attractions are, but there are also good choices of food around and a number of buses around. The room size is good. It would have been better if the bathroom door is sliding as with the present setting, you need to close the door before you can use the sink. The carpet is old and has stains. We saw a couple of cockroach during our 4-day stay. The staff at the concierge were very helpful. They tried hard and helped us to buy our bus tickets back to Zhuhai as we could not do so with our phone. Overall it's value for money.
