The reception service was far the most nice I have ever had in recent times, and the staff were super-sympathetic and too valuable. The hotel's gallery won me in the ”carisma” question, the problem is that the ”comfort” question has become complicated to defend, the hotel has no lift, so I had to carry the bags by a few stairs. The bed is in the last breath, and the bathroom was ok, as I stayed only one night, it was quiet, but I would certainly not stay there another day. I would like to point out that I had a garage, which for the value paid there in Fortezza is already a plus.

Exceptional officials. All cordial. Very clean, very good food. But we had a problem: with the strong rain the hotel was without energy. The generator was not enough for all rooms. We were unconditioned by 24h. We could not open the windows, because the generator is a little below us and the smoke generated by it entered our room. I asked the reception to change the room, because they had air-conditioned rooms working and said they couldn't; I asked a fan to sleep and they had no. Result: sleep (due to fatigue) at 2:30 a.m. with a humiliated towel on my body to try to threaten the heat.In the morning they would solve our problem, but we were already going away. I know that the lack of energy was not the fault of the hotel, but they could have put us in another room, because it was not stuck or then obtained a fan to avoid such disorder. This is a very good hotel! It has a great breakfast buffet, a great swimming pool, a great view of the beach, very nice beds, and a very peaceful location. The negative things I would say are very minor but they did make a difference for me. First, the staff were polite but not friendly. The hostesses at the breakfast buffet each morning were disappointing because they were the first staff I would see each day but they would never greet me and sometimes they would just coldly look me off. I stayed in a suite for 10 days, and these ladies knew it from their register, so for spending that much money I kind of expected a minimum amount of polite and respectful behavior. Second, the location is very peaceful but it is also a little far from other things so that might turn some people off. However, this is easily remedied by spending 3 to 4 bucks for an Uber. Third, I have been in windy locations but all night long the wind would whistle very loudly in my room. I feel like with a little TLC then the windows could be re-sealed or altered somewhat and this whistling issue would be completely resolved. If you are a light sleeper then this whistling wind issue might make it difficult to sleep. In summary, I really feel like this could be an excellent hotel if they would ask their staff to be friendly rather than just not rude.

Always a comfortable stay at the holiday Inn Fortaleza. The rooms are fairly large and comfortable for any length of stay. The hotel provides a decent breakfast to get your day started. Also a restaurant on site with cocktails good food and great service. The staff here are friendly and happy to help guests. Augusto the manager is always available to lend a helping hand if need be with a smile on his face. I’ve been all over the world in all kinds of hotels and when I’m in Fortaleza for business or pleasure this is my number one pick.

Adorei a infraestrutura: 3 elevadores que, em geral, atendem bem a demanda, quartos super espaçosos, chuveiro ótimo e varal no box, algo que todos os hotéis de praia deveriam ter! O restaurante tem boas opções, o café da manhã tem muita variedade e qualidade. Mas, o que realmente fez a diferença foi o atendimento excelente dos funcionários! Estive no Praia Centro em uma excursão de pessoas com deficiência visual. Eram aproximadamente 50 pessoas. Os funcionários foram muito gentis e eficientes ajudando tanto nas questões de locomoção, no momento do café e em outras solicitações. E um hotel que já está nos meus favoritos e eu certamente indico! Um ponto de melhoria seria colocar voz nos elevadores. Os mesmos já tem botões com identificação em braile. Mas, não da pra saber se o mesmo parou no andar correto por falta da voz.
