My Place Hotel-Fort Pierre, SD

When I arrived I was not 1st in line but I was greeted by the friendly staff. Check in was a breeze. My bed was very comfortable. The AC was outstanding and would run continuously which I appreciate. I got an item from the store at the counter which was very easy. Parking was great and we enjoyed kicking back at the outdoor seating area. Extremely clean and everything was how it should be.

Reserved a double queen room, but was given a single queen and offered an air mattress. Management wouldn’t acknowledge they messed up, acted like it was my fault and I had the confirmation to prove what I reserved. No discount given for their screw up.

It was a great experience and the staff was caring and accommodating! Thank you to all the staff for all the help and service you made! Looking forward for a next time and Hotel was near everything as well!

$300 per night is outrageous. My room had two conditioners and no shampoo. I had room 206 and every time the front door opened you could here a loud sliding noise. One of the guys in our group asked for a shampoo and they were told that they would have to purchase it. Absolute rip off for $300 per night. Our group will never stay at another my place again.

We can't say enough good about our stay!!! We called as we were traveling one of our 10 hours on the road. Dog tired after our fishing trip to Michigan and just couldn't drive anymore! (June 6th- 7th. The name of the gal who accommodated our requests as we were traveling escapes me. She was amazing!) I must be honest here... we were quite skeptical about this hotel. I have joked it looks like McDonalds. My Place has EXTREMELY clean, EXTERMELY quiet, EXTREMELY comfy beds (IF you like softer mattress), with great accommodations! It does have a kitchen and frig, but no dishes, utensils and such (which is just fine with us. Just sharing information.) Coffee pot, with coffee, fixings, and disposable coffee cups in the room are provided. The single queen room we enjoyed was spacious with a comfy recliner. Slept like babies! We were awakened by the cleaning crew vacuuming the hallway and running into our door, however. :0( Upon check out, Michele was super friendly, gave us her card to contact her for future stays and discounts. Excited to use our new found stay membership on our future travels! *We enjoyed an amazing dinner with a river front table at Drifters! Menu has choices for ALL taste buds! *A request we did learn we needed to ask for was to turn the ice maker on in the freezer so ice is ready and waiting for cool drinks upon arrival. My Places Hotels are now our new favorite place to stay! *Thank you Fort Pierre, SD for a new found haven!

Horrible experience. I barely slept at all. The window shade was broken and would not go down all the way so I had a bright light shining in the room all night. The heat was not working properly. It was 20 degrees outside but I had to have the air conditioner on and it was set at 64 degrees and STILL hot in the room. The worst though was the noise. You can hear EVERYTHING in the room. People talking next to each side, people walking above you, the microwave next door. The worst sound proofing I have ever experienced (or lack of). I tried to cancel my second night and was told only the manager could do that, no one else Conveniently she was never there the next day each time I tried to talk to her-so I was stuck there again. They did fix the window shade for night two but the rest of the problems remained. Would NEVER stay here again.
