Golden Moon Hotel

This was our first holiday to Turkey so we weren't sure what to expect. We booked a package with easyJet Holidays and arriving at night, only the hotel's night porter was on duty, so we were just shown to our room, and unable to find out anything about the hotel's facilities or the local area. However, the next morning we were warmly greeted by the hotel staff and given some useful tips as to how to get around. The rooms are quite basic and our view from the rear of the hotel was not the best, however the air conditioning was very good and the rooms were serviced daily. Breakfast was quite simple and much the same each day consisting of cereals, cheese, olives, tomato, pepper, cucumber, boiled eggs, bread, fruit and yogurt, so more than sufficient to start the day. There were very few guests staying throughout the time of our visit, so the pool area was nice and quiet and you didn't get disturbed at night. The location of the hotel is great, as it was just a short stroll to the local shops, bars and restaurants, as well as the water taxi, bus stop and beach. The views from the beach promenade were breath taking, particularly the sunsets at night and there was a great selection of bars and restaurants to choose from. It was apparent from speaking to others that Calis Beach is somewhere that people return to year after year and we would have no hesitation going back. If you prefer large busy hotels with lots of facilities, the Golden Moon may not be for you, but if you don't mind staying at a small simple friendly hotel, you won't go far wrong staying here.

Just arrived back from a lovely 18 night stay here at Golden Moon Hotel. Rooms have had a re vamp from last year & are very nice, although I did miss the chair . The bathroom is unchanged atm. Bedding & towels changed & room cleaned every day. We didn’t do breakfast but lots of guests did. We where in room 202 and didn’t hear any dogs, cats, cars ect Air conditioning we fully working. Bar staff lovely, Alex & his brother ( sorry I forgot) If I had a gripe or two it would be , 1 - the grids around the pool where dirty & looked like they could do with a good scrub & the grid by the steps where broken . 2 - the grass in areas was mud, so when you got out the pool you needed flip flops on to walk back to your bed , my husband didn’t & got mud everywhere, on the towels , floor ect And also the sunbed mattress looked really bad Apart from that all good. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Lovely room plenty of storage room cleaned daily towel change daily and linen alternative Day. Pool area clean pool lovely. Efes 100tl and soft drinks 60tl. Lovely run hotel have to pay extra for air con £5 a day fridge £30 a week late check out £35

Very clean and extremely well appointed for its price point. Nice location to the swimming beach in Fethiye, but 10 minutes in a taxi to the old town or Otogar. Comfy beds. Nice pool area. Would stay again

Nice and clean towels and bedding changed daily staff excellent .the hotel does not have a lift so would not recommend it for people who have difficulty with stairs .hotel very close to shops and restaurants .

Not long got back from a lovely three weeks stay in this family run hotel, it’s small & very friendly, nothing is to much trouble. Our room was over looking the pool & we could sea the sea ( sunset ) in the distance. Bathroom very light, hairdryer, shower & clean towels every single day . Room comfortable, balcony with two chairs & a table . Bedding changed, ( only a bottom sheet & throw blanket) but I’m sure if you asked they’d give you a top sheet. We don’t spend much time in our room so we where fine. Never heard any noise ( dogs , cats , cars ) We don’t do breakfast so not sure what it consists of. We did eat lunch in here & even had friends over to join us . My fav was tuna salad. Lovely little bar & Dougie the bar man was lovely, friendly and very helpful. This hotel allows people to come in, in the day and use the pool & beds as long as they eat & drink here, this happened a few times , but didn’t get crowded & was fine. Good location, close to the water taxi, and Main Street. Definitely worth a visit if you like basic rooms.

Stayed at the Golden moon hotel for 7 nights . Definitely recommend this hotel . Location fantastic a few minutes away from bars restaurants and most importantly a few minutes walk from the sea . Pool great very clean , lovely bar next to it which serves food coffee what ever you need , if your sat round the pool the guys will bring it to where ever you are sat . Hotel rooms nice , very chilled hotel , staff are very good what ever you need they will try and accommodate you .
