We had not booked a room and were pleased that the hotel was able to accommodate us at short notice. Our room was large with a good sized bathroom and very comfortable. We were disappointed that we were unable to dine at the restaurant - I had assumed that tables would be available for hotel guests. We had had a long day and did not want to have to find somewhere else, and the hotel was unable to offer any alternative eating places. We eventually found another resaurant and had one of the best meals of our holiday. I would rfecommend booking ahead if you wnat to stay & eat at this hotel. Breakfast was buffet style and plentiful. Florac is a beautiful village and I'd love to return to explore more.

We spent one night in Florac at the start of a road trip in the South of France. Whilst research told us there was a restaurant in the hotel, when we arrived it was closed. We walked into the town for dinner and had a stroll around. We were given a very large but strangely configured room which was very quiet and comfortable. Hotel served a standard breakfast in the dining room. Good value for money.

This property is tired and dated and while they've tried to spruce it up a bit, the mould in the bathroom should not be there and the towels are old and threadbare. The sound insulation between rooms was terrible. We will not stay here again.

The hotel is old, seems like it stayed on from the 80s, except for the shower. Just the shows, not the rest of the bathroom. Service was adequate and the hotel was clean and well taken care of. We stayed for two nights with a group and also had our meals and a very good and abundant picnic bag for one day trip. I recommend it for what it is: a local hotel that serves it purpose with. certain dignity and efficiency.

The restaurant was closed. Breakfast was pover. Reception desk was most of the time closed. There was no information available about Florac or the Cevennes.

2h30 d’attente pour un repas somme toute quelconque…. Décevant Serveuse ne connaissant rien. Et mal aimable . Plats non servis au même moment à tout les convives … Bof bof bof Cuisine correct mais rien d’extraordinaire. Désolé deles avoir dérangé.

A éviter absolument, voilà un établissement où le dirigeant ne forme pas son personnel, le néglige, le méprise : serveuses au restaurant ne connaissant pas la carte des vins, le personnel de ménage ne dispose d'aucun matériel moderne adapté, obligé de porter des charges lourdes sur plusieurs étages (vu de mes yeux). Ce patron fume dans l'accueil, le terminal de paiement CB est visiblement en panne depuis plusieurs jours, obligeant le paiement en espèces (je pense que ça l'arrange). Le restaurant : le cuisinier n'est pas à la hauteur, les plats sont médiocres!!! L'établissement lui même baigne dans son jus depuis trop longtemps sans travaux ...

Passez votre chemin! Les photos sur le site internet sont alléchantes mais une fois arrivée, quelle déception. L’hôtel fait poussiéreux et vétuste, une odeur désagréable a imprégné les lieux. J’ai cru un instant être dans l’Hotel Overlook du film Shinning 🙃 Le gérant n’a pas le sens du service client. Arrivés à 15:30 nous demandons un panier repas pour le lendemain. Ce dernier nous dit que ce n’est possible et qu’il aurait fallu passer commande avant midi. Pratique sachant que l’on avait 8h de marche pour arriver jusque là. Il faut par contre reconnaître que le restaurant est plutôt bon, notamment l’aligot saucisse. Par contre le petit déjeuner est sans intérêt. Je ne crois pas avoir déjà bu un café aussi mauvais.
