This is a clean well run park with good facilities and friendly staff. We stayed for 12 days during a fairly quiet time. Close to everything but far enough away to be quiet. Sites might be a bit tight when busy but the management are doing some ground works and improvements. Will stay again.

Just out of town this is a well managed caravan park with lots of large open caravan sites. On town water and easy access to water, power and sulage this was a great place to base ourselves for a few days in Isa. Lovely green sites and well maintained amenities it was a great place to be.

We stayed overnight in a pet friendly cabin and it was the best accommodation we’ve had on our road trip from the NT to Gold Coast. The cabin was spacious and had a small fenced back yard so the dogs could roam free. The bed was super comfy and the cabin had everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and gave us great advice on where to eat etc. I’d highly recommend anyone travelling with dogs to stay here.

As the season slows down this park had plenty of powered sites at $33 each. Very reasonable. It was great to have Grassy sites away from the town centre with clean spacious facilities and especially clean toilets. We needed a day rest from our hectic travels and this caravan park was just ideal. Sue the relief manager was a delight to deal with and nothing was a problem. Highly recommend this park for anyone passing through Mount Isa.

Greeted by lovely reception staff. nice wide, flat sites, with water, grey water disposal and power all easily accessed. Amenity block was aged, but clean and very functional. Unfortunately, this area has experienced a high crime rate recently, and with media coverage, patriotism has declined. Management has done what they can to warn clients and avoid the problems. We had no evidence of any potential safety concerns while here. very enjoyable rest while travelling far north QLD.

Overall the park was ok. Facilities, pool, laundry etc. However the security was totally lacking. Unfortunately, with the domestic history of car stealing and opportunist thieving in the town you are sitting ducks. Our stay of 3 nights saw a car stolen plus another car broken into, windows smashed. Money, credit cards stolen. This caravan park needs security lights, boom gates and a security guard roaming to protect your property. Brazen young thieves afoot. Would not recommend a stay here.

This park has the best clean facilities we have seen. Grass sites. Sites are well spaced. Small park and we felt very safe out the road at this park. Laundry is clean with all working washing machines. And even a iron. Toilet and showers at the north end are like mini ensuites. Toilet and showers together. Excellent.

We do try to avoid the Isa due to poor quality caravan parks that we have encountered over many years, but since finding this one which we feel is ideal it is no longer a problem. We had a large powered site and across the road from the well kept and clean amenity block which was a bonus. I can understand when stopping in a cabin which is close to the highway that road noise may be a problem, but not so in the van powered areas!

Average, for the price we paid the cabin was very outdated, we also had cockroaches! I have stayed here many times in the past and was great but now it seems run down We also had rubbish in the room that was from the previous occupants still in the room!
