Campanile Lyon Sud - Feyzin

This hotel is located close to the ‘autoroute du soleil’ which is why we picked it on our way south. Downsides: it’s located in a very industrial area, with a huge factory just next to it. There’s no fridge in the room. You pay 100 EUR on average/night for a double room which is quite overpriced if you ask me, but it’s just the price you pay for a clean room in French cities. Plus: friendly staff, secured parking, decent breakfast, clean room. In just a 5 min drive you can reach the highway again and continue your road trip. Rooms were quiet. We had an issue upon check-out due to Trip.com having provided wrong information to the hotel (I had paid for a room with breakfast to Trip.com and the hotel couldn’t see the same on their reservation system so they thought I hadn’t paid for breakfast.) It was the first time I booked a room via Trip.com. It took me a while to find out how I could talk to their customer service. After 5 min of chatting with customer service, I got one of their assistants on the phone who talked to me first, then to the hotel staff and after the talk, trip.com asked me to pay the hotel for my breakfast once again and said they would refund my breakfast, which they meanwhile did. But all in all we nearly lost an hour of our precious vacation time due to this issue, which is why I’m very reluctant in using trip.com for a second time. I never had these kind of issues with *********** or **********.

Hot even with ac, dripping in room from ac, uncomfortable hard bed.

Rate is too high for this kind of hotel, a little bit far from Lyon Good point for the free parking and the direct access to the room. The price of the breakfast is too high the quality and the limited choice.

Nice little hotel hidden away a little bit. Straight off the highway. Ideal if you don’t want to loose time when on the road. Very clean rooms with direct access outside. Bathrooms are modern and clean. Big screen tv with excellent quality image. Good choice at the breakfast buffet. Fresh bread and croissants. Eggs, bacon and sausages. Large choice of cheese and yogourts. In the evening for dinner they have a menu with a good choice of different kinds of local and international cuisine. Front office staff is friendly and professional. I recommend this hotel whether it is for one or several nights.

This was fine for an overnight stop. It's close to the autoroute but I doubt I'd have found it without a satnav! Sadly owing to staff shortage the only thing available for dinner was pizza. Rooms are compact, but adequate. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly

En transit vers le sud nous nous sommes arrêtez pour la nuit au campanile de Lyon sud ( feyzin) . Accueil très convivial et chaleureux, la personne a l’accueil était très aimable. Nous décidons de dîner au restaurant de l’hôtel.. la catastrophe ! Apéritif ridicule, quasi rien dans le verre a peine 2 min après avoir eu le verre d’apéritif le plat était la .. ( lasagne au saumon ) . La portion était minuscule.. honteux de servir cela . Vous pouvez franchement vous faire livrer un repas car vous avez toujours fin après. Le lendemain matin … accueil désastreux, pas un sourire , la personne a l’accueil est clair pas contente d’être là . Heureusement le petit déjeuner était très bien , rien à redire . Au sortir de la salle , pas un mots , pas un au revoir de la personne a l’accueil. Je revendrai l année prochaine mais je ne prendrai pas le repas du soir la . Ps: chambre propre et confortable, la dessus rien à signaler
