Riad Sanaa Rose

Booked a stay with this Riad in August and tried to check in at 6pm. It was difficult to find but that's expected. It took someone about 10 mins and multiple knocks on the door to come out. The lady only spoke french and looked very surprised. She didn't know of my reservation, tried contacting the owner who also didn't know of the reservation. The Riad doesn't have AC so the interior was about 90F and the lady just left us there while our credit card confirmed the reservation and asked us to try again. This lady then brought us tea and our credit card company apparently got through to the owner who was offsite. 50 minutes later drenched in sweat we said au revoir and the lady came rushing down the stairs to try and beg us to stay while things were figured out. At this point we already had another riad nearby booked (Riad Myra, fantastic w/ AC). The lady physically grabbed my arm to ask me to stay which i shrugged off and then BLOCKED/grabbed MY GIRLFRIEND and WOULDN'T LET HER LEAVE. My girlfriend was pretty cool about it and after more than a minute of asking her to get out of the way just went on all 4s under this lady. We were pretty thankful to be leaving and the situation ended well as our credit card credited our stay at Myra which was almost hard to compare to sanaa rose. The unfortunate thing is that the owner lied and said they served me dinner so I couldn't get a refund. It was $45 which is no big deal, I'm sure karma will hit the owners soon. All the reviews are from months ago so maybe something recently changed but this was by far the worst experience I've had at a hotel and would recommend looking anywhere else in fes. (With AC if its the summer).

I spent two weeks in this wonderful place and I felt with us the Moroccan Riads the staff are always helpful.The breakfast is Moroccan and the dinner is delicious And view in the roof amazing you can see all the medina . I really recommend this place

First of all, Abdul, the guy who helped us at the riad, was awesome! What a kind and helpful guy :) We originally booked another hotel, but because of a mistake they accidentally booked our room twice. Fortunately, Abdul was there to help. The original riad arranged we could stay at Sanaa Rose, and Abdul had no problems with us paying the original price although it was normally twice as expensive. From the start he explained us everything about Fes and arranged some nice activities for us. The room was beautiful and very spacious and in the middle of the beautiful Medina of Fes. All the popular attractions are in the neighbourhood :) We really had a very nice stay!

Merci beaucoup pour ce magnifique séjour, je recommande vivement cette résidence !!! Hôte très agréable, toujours à l’écoute et prend soin de ses résidents. Le lieu est propre et idéal pour des vacances en famille. J’y retournerais sans hésiter

Super Riad, je recommande vivement!! Nous avons passé un incroyable moment et les propriétaires sont très accueillants et disponibles! Le Riad est tres bien situé, très bien équipé et entretenu : tout ce que l’on recherche pour être tranquille!

Excellente expérience au Riad, le personnel est accueillant et bienveillant du début à la fin du séjour. Les équipements présent sont complets et de bonnes qualités ! Le meilleur accueil du Maroc. Thé offert à l'arrivée et disponibilité des gérantes, Zoubida et Selma qui ont été aux petits soins avec nous. Leur gentillesse et leurs petites attentions ont embelli notre séjour, l'endroit est très bien située et la terrasse est particulièrement appréciable

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Je n’ai rien à redire tout était parfait du début à la fin. Un accueil très chaleureux, poursuivi par un séjour très agréable. Je vous recommande cet endroit, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés!
