Unfortunately we never got to stay here because owner cancelled our reservation due to our late arrival caused by a delayed flight. Initially I requested a transfer from airport and supplied our flight details, arrival 2200. Francesco informed me that the pickup service finished at 2100 and confirmed taxi would be available and provided estimated costs. Unfortunately our flight was delayed, so as a courtesy, I emailed the hotel to inform them we would now be arriving closer to midnight. On arrival in Milan I checked my phone to find a message "Please cancell your reservation. We just close" So, the owner cancelled our reservation an hour before we were due to check-in. As you can imagine, this was an absolute disaster - our 2 young children were already tired and now we had no accommodation. I eventually managed to book into another (much more expensive) airport hotel. I note that the the details note that check-in closes at 2300 but given that every other flight I take is delayed these days I would suggest that as an "airport hotel" needs to cater for late arrivals. I had communicated our flight details to the owner so they had the opportunity to point our that they would cancel our booking if arriving late. From our booking details they knew we had 2 young children and must have been aware that cancelling would cause a family considerable problems and expense. From other reviews it seems that it's a nice place to stay but if there's any chance you will be delayed I would book somewhere else to avoid a potentially stressful situation and a horrible start to a holiday.
