9 women celebrating our 30th "friend anniversary" and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay for our 3-night stay in Faro. Jean-Paul has been an excellent host - he helped us both before and during our stay far beyond what you can expect from a host. Casa Apollo is a pearl - even if it's situated in the centre of Faro it is a quiet gem only a few minutes walk from the main streets. It's a beautiful place with lovely and clean rooms. The breakfast is delicious with everything you can wish for; it's the perfect start to the day. We highly recommend Casa Apollo and will for sure book again whenever we come back to Faro :-)

After long and intense medical treatment i was looking for a Peaceful & Tranquil setting, the thought process was where could i stay and rest rather than a place i could step out from every day to tour. I reviewed both the location of this Hotel, 150mtr from the main streets of Faro together with a fantastic resting area within the curtilage of the Property, the owner prides himself on this fantastic sanctuary Garden with the swimming Pool to one side steadying at a comfortable 27deg. The perimeter walls filled with very distinctive Tropical Plants, some even imported from as far as French Guyana, amazing and calming to look at. Jean Paul & his Team could not be more accommodating, generally i never return to the same place twice as i feel there are plenty of undiscovered alternatives, but in this RARE case , this would be a no brainer and return i will. Bedroom 5/5 Bed 5/5 Breakfast 5/5 Host & Team 5/5 Comfort 5/5 PS i do not usually take time to write reviews however i think this was deserving for a small business that tries so hard to please.

I had the most wonderful stay! The room was perfect - big comfortable bed, tv, spotlessly clean and elegantly styled. You can tell that the owner took great care designing the property and in maintaining high standards. The pool and garden area was beautiful. The fruit trees were very cool! There was also a nice lounge area for guests. The owner kindly let me relax at the guesthouse until my evening flight after I had checked out. It feels like an oasis in the middle of the city - but only a 15 minute Uber to the airport which was very convenient. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. There were a variety of yoghurts, granolas, fruits, homemade french toast, meats, bread, cheese etc! I was also offered eggs. It was lovely to sit out on the patio for this. I will be recommending Casa Apollo to all friends and family who come to stay in Faro!

What a friendly lovely place. Spacious comfortable bedroom. Beautifully furnished. Peaceful and calm. Excellent breakfast. Chantal looked after us so nicely. Ideally placed close to centre of Faro and bus and train stations.

We had a wonderful stay at the Casa Apollo. The staff are so kind and attentive. Jean Paul the owner could not do enough for us. Our room was beautiful and the breakfasts were delicious. The garden is a delight as is the pool area. Highly recommended.

The owner was a french man who was so kind. He made the best breakfast I had in Portugal, even better than what was provided in expensive hotels. The room was clean and the house looked tidy and pleasant. Sadly the garden area was under renovation so it looked a little messy outside but that didnt affect my stay. Also, when I first arrived and parked outside, I got so scared because the street looked sketchy at night but gladly nothing happened and the inside was good.

Nur wenige Meter von Altstadt,Marina und Bahnhof entfernt lässt man das quirlige Faro hinter der schönen Eingangstür und taucht ein in das ruhige, geschmackvoll und hochwertig gestaltete B& B Apollo.Unser Zimmer war mit Blick in den wunderschönen Garten..alles blitzsauber und sinnvoll eingerichtet.Der Pool,die Liegewiese und die Terrasse...zum Wohlfühlen ! Und erst das liebevoll und abwechslungsreiche frisch zubereitete Frühstück...nach einer Woche 4*- Hotels vergeben wir fürs Apollo mindestens *****. Danke für die schönen Tage Bettina und Stefan

En plein centre, un havre de paix dans un jardin exotique, où tout est qualitatif. Aucune fausse note. Les chambres sont grandes et décorées avec goût, literie parfaite, WC séparé, et excellente insonorisation. Jolie piscine chauffée à 30° Parking facile et gratuit alentour. Jean Paul distille des conseils avisés. Un vrai bonheur.

Wir waren für 4 Tage im Apollo Guesthouse. Das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Es gibt auch eine Klimaanlage. Der Innenhof ist sehr idyllisch. Das Frühstück war klein, aber die Auswahl am Buffet war ausreichend und sehr lecker. Schön wäre ein Angebot von verschiedenen Kaffeegetränken gewesen. Die Lage ist super, die Altstadt ist fußläufig erreichbar und der Flughafen ist ebenfalls nicht sehr weit entfernt. Aufgrund der Lage ist die Umgebung jedoch relativ laut; man hört die Flugzeuge und in der Straße wird viel renoviert, was tagsüber ebenfalls relativ laut ist. In den Zimmern mit geschlossenen Fenstern ist es aber trotzdem schön ruhig. Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt gut gefallen.
