Do not stay here if you want to sleep! I've just left Oasis House after having 3 nights with only a few hours sleep. It is situated on a very busy road. The noise was like the window was open. Constant loud traffic noise all day and well into the night It starts again early morning. I'd add a sound recording to this feedback if it was possible. A quick heads up. There is also a local Cockerell that starts flapping it's beak early morning (not Oasis fault of course, but its worth mentioning). I have a 14 hour journey home today, feeling like a zombie. I spent the days in a daze because of being so tired. I text and emailed the guest house on my first night to ask to change my room to the back of the house. I received a reply the next day to advise that there were no rooms free (to be honest, I think that all rooms would be effected by the noise). I sent a follow up email. Due to this they then put cheap little foam earplugs in my room. This must be a known issue. I have black circles under my eyes that would make a giant Panda jealous. The heating is pre set, so when I was woken early hours by vans zooming past (and Mr Noisy Cockrell) I was cold but unable to put the heating on. The single room is a little cramped, but its a single after all. One part is a sloped ceiling, so unable to use much of that space really. Watch your head on the beam. Oasis may want to get better double glazing and also check if people have logged out of Netflix when they leave. There was some questionble user names left on there when I arrived :-0 Positives - Close to the town centre and clean.
