This summer was our third stay at The Residence Maldives at Falhumaafushi. It has been again a memorable experience in this paradise surrounded by a reef full of life and easily accessible by swimming. The resort facilities are great, the restaurants and food superb, but if anything makes this hotel special it is the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Always attentive, friendly, close and willing to help. I would like to highlight the kindness and efficiency of Emma Pruna from the reception and reservations team and all her colleagues and the friendliness and good gastronomic recommendations of Micah Quemada and Hafiz at the dinning room of Digurah. They all made our holidays an unforgettable experience!! Thank you!!

Amazing holidays at The Residence Falhumaafushi. The islans are so gree, a lot of vegetation, trees and shadow. An incredible experience. Spacious and comfortable overwater pool villa with direct aces to the sea from the pool deck. Very rich and varied buffet restaurant in the morning. The lunch menus at the beach bars and pool bars are very appetizing. The a la carte restaurants also offer different cuisines. I suggest trying all the proposals. A beautiful and varied coral reef with snorkelling from the beach, beautiful excursions, we saw dolphins! A word of gratitude to all the staff, from the reception, to the waiters, housekeepers, buggy drivers, water sports centre. Everyone was very kind and helpful. We felt like at home. We will definitely come back!

Where do I even start? What an absolutely incredible resort! We stayed in an overwater villa with private pool on Falhumaafushi and it was perfect! The island has everything you could possibly want, and we loved that we could also use everything on Dhigurah island too! All of the food was 10/10, delicious!! I had 2 massages at the spa and they were by far the best I’ve ever had! We did a couple of excursions - the sunset dolphin cruise was amazing, we saw approx 40+ dolphins, and it really was a perfect evening. We also did the snorkelling by dhoni excursion, we saw 20+ sharks, a huge turtle and loads of fish, again another unforgettable memory! I wanted to add a note in about the weather, as when we were looking for our honeymoon destination, I was a little apprehensive about visiting the Maldives during the ‘wet season’ and struggled to find many reviews where guests mentioned what they had experienced during British summer time. We visited from 25 June - 6 July and had 1 night of rain, and our last day was very windy and overcast, but other than that, we had beautiful sunshine for the rest of the time!! Thank you so much to everyone at both resorts for making such it such a perfect honeymoon, we loved every second of it, and really hope to come back again in the future!

Great food, Excellent staff, Lovely location. I’m here at the moment just over half way through my vacation. I’ve stayed in the Maldives a few times and this place is great. I’d recommend just for the location and the amazing reef. See photos.

We enjoyed a lot in Long Island service was excellent especially hasan abilash tuhin was so humbled they suggested nice food to us. Ambience was so nice and we have nice vacation we will be back soon, island is very pleasant and maintained very well is like a heaven, room have a nice view we enjoyed sunset from villa

If there is a place that you would like to go to see beautiful beaches and experience amazing food and activities, The Residence at Maldives is the place to have a holiday. The staff are amazing. They are very helpful and nothing is too much for them. In particular Ravi was very helpful and gave us a lot of information about the Maldives and the people who live and work here. They have several restaurants as well other places that you can choose to have amazing food at. Our villa was very roomy with everything you could want. The pools are beautiful kept and are crystal clear. The ocean is the same. There are many activities that you can choose to attend or you can just relax by the pool or the ocean. If you are here on a Friday it is worth attending the Manager’s cocktail party as the entertainment is great. We would highly recommend what can only be described as paradise.

We stayed in their two-bedroom villa with our family of four and had an amazing experience from the beginning. The staff took care of us even before our arrival. When we arrived late in the evening, they had arranged dinner for us at the airport before our final flight to the island. Once we arrived at the resort around midnight, we were immediately taken to our villa where food and drinks were prepared. The service at all the restaurants and bars was impeccable, and the spa was excellent. The resort has a fantastic snorkeling spot just a short bike ride away, where we had the best experience swimming with sharks and reef fish. The dolphin cruise at sunset was incredibly fun, and we saw many dolphins. Everyone was professional and paid great attention to detail. Also, thanks to our travel agent, Andrew, from GoMaldives, who recommended The Residence and helped us with booking.
