Liked: Working distance to Pioneer Park, staff was pleasant and helpful, breakfast was good
Disliked: Seating (sofa) area next to reception was worn and torn. Not much seating in the room. A small sofa would have helped.

Very clean, very good breakfast, they helped in a pinch when we could not find a ride from the train station, which was above and beyond!
Also there is a nice trail from the parking lot that goes to a park.

Convenient location. Lot of space to park. Room was great size. Fire place did not work. They had free breakfast. Staff not very friendly especially at the desk. First night we had our music little high since we were in our vacation mode so staff called us and told us off also stating that we can get kicked out of the hotel. We found that rude as we were not even arguing.

The first two nights were fine, but the last three were horrible as a group of about a dozen or more young kids checked in with the parents. They were constantly running up and down the halls, slamming doors, yelling and screaming, and running up and down the stairs. We asked them several times along with talking to the parents about controlling their kids. We spoke to the staff at the hotel many many times but nothing was ever done. We lost sleep on three of the nights and at one point while talking to a hotel representative the parents of these kids late at night we're down in the lobby drinking beer and having pizza creating excessive noise in the hotel employee ended up screaming at them to leave as the hotel lobby was closed. The hotel needs to have more authority to shut down this behavior as the parents couldn't care less and let the kids run free up and down hallways and stairs for four straight days.

I can't say a lot about the grounds or surroundings as it was the dead of winter and the motel was snowbound. We saw kids using the indoor pool. They were happy. We used the gym daily and all the machines worked. We were happy.
We also really liked that the breakfast foods were kept topped off and hot. Kudos to the breakfast staff.

This property is tired. The furniture is worn and sagging --some pieces with large tears. There were unsafe puddles of water left on the floor around the check in desk from kids playing in and out of the pool near the lobby. There was a large bouquet of wilted, dead flowers sitting on the reception desk where you check in.
On a happier note, the bed was comfortable and the staff was up preparing breakfast very early so I was able to have coffee before my 5 am cab ride arrived for the airport!
