The Hotel and staff was great, good food and nice people. We had one little mishap with some breakfast boxes but the staff was quick to help with a solution

It is indeed strange that the evaluations of this hotel are so different.
We were met with nothing but kindness, an excellent room, a great breakfast and parking at no extra charge.
We shall be back.
Only fly in the oin**ent was the exorbitant charge for renting a robe and slippers if it is desired to use the wellness facilities. This should be possible at a more fair price.

Our Junior Suite was ok but nothing special and the room was dirty and the carpet was terrible. The bathroom cabinets had cobwebs and dirty splash stains. The mini fridge was totally empty not even a bottle of water would have expected more. The reception made us feel like second class citizens as she asked her colleague what room should she give us as we had booked via ******* - she didn’t realise I could understand her I am English. I would not stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Check in went smoothly, staff were efficient but not very friendly. Lovely clean room although rather dark and gloomy. Comfortable bed and pillows, good shower. Breakfast was really good, lots of choices both hot and cold. In the room safe we found some items of jewellery that had been left by previous guests and took them down to reception. Again , the staff were not very friendly which was disappointing as we were worried that the jewellery may have had sentimental value to the owner, Hopefully they will be found.

It’s a great hotel in spring and winter. I was there in august there was no AC and the temperatures were in the 80s.
