Riad très bien placé. Un peu sombre et humide. La salle de bain est très sommaire. Personnel très accueillant.

We have just returned from a week here. Hotel was very clean, our room was more of a suite than a room as it included 2 sofas, two armchairs and 2coffee tables. Bed was very comfortable and the bed linen and towels were changed every day. The breakfast was excellent consisting of: Always a mini baguette, local yogurt, jam, honey, orange juice, m’smen, fruit and hot beverage of choice. Then variably a brioche, a couscous cake or pancake with either boiled egg or cheese. It was very filling and the staff were always very helpful. The proprietors were friendly and helpful from advising on local areas of interest to arranging our taxi back to the airport. We are looking forward to returning and have already recommended it to friends and family.

The riad is very nice. Antique I would say, beautiful architecture, beautiful furniture. The rooms are good and comfortable. Breakfast is great. It has a good location as Essaouira is very easy to move and walk.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. Situated right in the heart of Essaouira, the rooms were outstanding, breakfast was top notch, and the hotel itself is just so beautiful from the very top to the very bottom.

What a gorgeous hotel! The public spaces and sun roof are absolutely exquisit, and so are most rooms. My own room was simple, but came at no single occupancy surcharge and had fast reliable wifi at all times. Upstairs rooms will have been quieter but I was told that WiFi is patchy. The whole space was spotless with plumbing in good working order, although my bathroom was tiny and they need to make it clear to guests that this is not drinking water. Breakfast was plated rather than buffet and not for me, but after I spoke to the manager I got less of some things and more of others. Location is in the middle of the medina, with lots of shops and food options nearby. I got lost in the medina on days 1 and 2, so I definitely recommend remembering landmarks! Highly recommend this place - would have been 6 stars without breakfast :-)

The riad is beautifully restored and has a very relaxing ambience. Very friendly staff and great breakfast. The location is a bit lively and ideal for exploring the medina and the waterfront; it is not a beach hotel close to the sand beach.

I really enjoyed this riad in Essaouira! My room was large and clean, the bed very comfortable, and the service fantastic. It had a nice terrace to enjoy some relaxation and cold drinks too. The breakfast was pretty good, the location was ideal and everything you'd want to see or do in Essaouira was an easy walk. I would love to stay here again.

Basic, no-frills. Showing signs of wear-and-tear. Staff was helpful when asked, but they never took the initiative. For example, no map of the town was given at check-in even though they were available. One was given only after I saw other guests with them and requested one. Another example - my booking included breakfast. Usually breakfast hours and restaurant location are explained at check-in. However, I was not given this information. My room was dimly lit. The decor was outdated. No hot water for morning showers. The room was designed with a sitting area and sleeping area. There was a 2 inch step-up going from one area to the other. It was very awkward. The elevation was small enough to be very difficult to see in the dimly lit room. However, it was signifiant enough that I nearly twisted my ankle several times due to sudden change of plane. Breakfast was meager. Do not pay extra for it. The selling points are location and cost. This is a hotel best suited for budget-conscious travelers who want to be in the heart of the medina.

The rooms are exquisite with comfortable beds and reliable hot water. Doonas are warm. Cleanliness impeccable. The breakfast is really disappointing - the first in Morocco. WIFI is unpredictable and inadequate..
